 Event Title: Virtual Amazing Race

THE VIRTUAL AMAZING RACE IS AN EXCITING FAST PACED REMOTE

ACTIVITY THAT WILL REQUIRE TEAMS TO WORK TOGETHER IN TEAMS OF 4
TO COMPLETE CHALLENGES ALL FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME.
No. of Participants: All teams must have 20 racers.
EVENT DATE: Saturday, June 26, 2021
General Guidelines:
● Each participant must be a bona fide student of Physical Education in Mindanao State
University – General Santos.
● The game shall take place through zoom and the required online platform in completing
every task prepared.
● Each TEAM must select 20 representatives from their team and must select 1 Point
person which will be considered as the team leader.
● Participants are required to be online all the time during the said event, and have a
zoom application in their mobile phones/laptop or PC.
● Participants also need smart phones for submissions of photos which are part of the
task.
● Teams will be given the same meeting link and each team will have their own breakout
rooms.
● Each breakout room will have its corresponding game master.
● Team players are encouraged to have a zoom background with their team logo, color and
name on it.
● The game master will be the one who will facilitate a series of challenges.
● Accomplishment of every task will be sent to the game master assigned in every breakout
room.
● Each team must complete all challenges in the shortest time possible.
● The team that completes all of the challenges in the shortest amount of time will be
declared the winner of the virtual amazing race.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: On or before June 20, 2021, Sunday at 12 noon

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. The competition is open to all P. E. Students of Mindanao State University-General Santos
City.
2. Participants are free to create a meme, however the use of inappropriate and offensive humor
is strictly prohibited. Participants who violate this rule will be automatically disqualified.
*Note: Each Group/Team shall prepare three [3] entries.
3. The submission of the entry is on or before June 20, 2021, Sunday at 12 noon and should be
sent through the email: jerick.bejarin@msugensan.edu.ph
4. All Entries will be checked and scanned by the committee head. Once approved, it will
immediately be posted on the PESO- MSU GENSAN Official page.
5. The said entries will be posted in three [3] batches June 23, 24, 25, 2021. Accumulation of
total " " or HAHA reaction shall be observed in determining the winners.
6. The counting of reactions will end on June 26, 2021 at exactly 8:00 am.

Note: Only " " or HAHA reaction is counted.

7. The winners will be announced on June 27, 2021 during the closing program.
8. There shall be three winners in this competition

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. This competition is open to all students who has a subject of Physical Education at Mindanao
State University, General Santos City;
2. Every competing team must submit three (3) individual entries per category dance, skit and
dub; Avoid face to face interaction;
3. The video will not exceed three (3) minutes;
4. Any video recording apps is not allowed except for tiktok;
5. The video must be funny or entertaining;
6. Entries must not be defamatory, rude or anything that is offensive;
7. The submission of the entry will be on or before Friday June 18 at 12 pm;
Note: We will have a first-to-send basis upon uploading your entries on the page. The
earlier you submit; the front slot will be reserved for you. Committees will monitor your

the other participants;
13. The counting of reactions will end on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at exactly 12PM;
Note: Only "😮" Wow reaction is counted for Dance, "😂" haha reaction for Skit and "♥️" heart
reaction for Dub.
14. The Criteria for judging will be based on the following:
- Creativity/Entertainment value - 40%
(Artistry, concept, execution, style, funny, witty)
- Technical Presentation - 20%
( Quality of the video, projection)
- Online Reaction - 25%
(Online Engagement)
- Overall Impact - 15%

15. If the participants do not adhere to the prescribed guidelines, 5 points will be deducted
from the total score;
16. The decision of the judges is final and irrevocable;
17. The winners of the Tiktok Competition will be announced on the closing program.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. The contestants must be a bona fide student of Mindanao State University and enrolled in
the Physical Education course.
2. The contestants may be:
SOLO: Male or Female
DUET: both males, both females, or male and female.
Take note: If a team's contestants are lacking, contestants from Solo category can join the
Duet category, and vice versa.
3. Interested participants may choose only one (1) OPM (Original Pilipino Music) to be
sung and no remix of the song is allowed. Original composition is not accepted.
4. Contestant/s can only have a 3-minute maximum performance through a video.
5. Video must be taken in landscape view.
6. The contestants may use a minus-one accompaniment, any musical instruments or
some background music.
7. The singers must use their own original voice, dubbing is highly discouraged.
Take note: Auto-tune/voice enhancer is strongly forbidden.

8. Make sure to shoot your video in a well-lighted location and the audio of the video entry
must be clear.
9. You have the liberty of your own creativity, as long as the gist of singing is still present.
10. Email your video entry to pesomsugensanofficial@gmail.com not later than June 21
2021 with this format:
Quaranoke-Duet/ Solo (TEAM) title of your song choice and Complete Name of the two
constants.
Example: Quaranoke-Duet/ Solo TEKKEN_Malaya (Jessa Gimarino, Joseph Luway)
11. Entries sent after June 21, 2021 (11:59 PM) will not be entertained.
12. Submitted entries will be posted in the PESO MSU-Gensan Page.

13. There will be two bases upon choosing the winners:
First, is through Facebook reactions and second through judges' scores.

 A. In Facebook reactions, only heart ( ) reactions are counted. 30% of the total scores
will be coming from the FB reactions. Voting ends at 11:59 PM, June 26, 2021
B. In the judges' decision, 70% of the total scores will be coming from them. To ensure
a fair and impartial results, these criteria for judging will be utilized:

14. The entry who garners the highest “LOVE” reactions and highest scores in the judges' sheet

 Event Title: SINGING BRING ME

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
1. Every day starting June 23,2021-June 26,2021, the facilitators will post/drop a few lines
of a song without telling the title, and participants need to guess the missing words of the
song's lyrics and bring it when filming the video.
2. How to answer?
In the comment section, upload a video singing the lyrics while bringing the assumed
answer and with a caption:

declared as winner.
5. Winners will be posted at the official FB Page of Physical Education Student’s

OVERALL GUIDELINES

1. The Candidates must be a bona fide student of Mindanao State University-General Santos
with a Physical Education subject.
2. Each team must have 1 representative for Mr. and 1 representative for Ms PESOlympics.
3. The contestants must fill-in the official entry form on the date specified by the
committee, and it should be done online through Google Forms for formality.
4. The board of committee must check and verify the applications submitted by the
candidates.
5. The program will consist of 4 portions, such as:
a. Sports Attire (Photoshoot)
b. Video Advocacy
c. Question and Answer Portion
6. The Organization will announce and post all the verified applicants/ candidates for
publicity.

ADVOCACY

1. The first round would be the introduction of their Physical Education related advocacy, in
which the participants will present their agenda through video presentations that will be
posted on Facebook on the date specified by the committee.
2. The video must not exceed (2-3 minutes), any app is allowed in editing their advocacy
video.

3. 1. The video must not exceed 3 minutes, with a minimum time of 2 mins per entry. (2-
3mins)
4. Once it will be uploaded on Facebook, the advocacies will be given a time frame set by
the committee that would validate all the (♥️) reactions garnered by each entry.
5. The video of each team's representative should have the logo of PESO and MSU.
Note: Once the deadline is done, all the reactions will not be entertained anymore.
6. The video score will be added to the overall scoring on the finale day of the pageant.
7. Scoring will follow the 50% (♥️) reaction, and 50% judges' vote.
For the judges’ perspective of scoring, the video must contain the following:
7.1. The video should be timely and relevant to the above-mentioned topic.

7.2. The presentation should be aesthetically pleasing, the quality of the video and audio
must be clear and audible.

8. The winning entry will be presented during the finale, and the candidate will receive a special
award and certificate.

SPORTS ATTIRE (PHOTOSHOOT)

1. In this portion, the participant is expected to provide at least (5) photo samples in
different angles of wearing their preferred sports attire.
2. The concept of the photo will depend on the candidate’s creativity and imagination on
what type of sports attire he/she will utilize.

 3. Each photo will be posted on Facebook, and will be given a time frame set by the
committee that would validate all the (♥️) reactions garnered by each entry.
4. Note: Once the deadline is done, all the reactions will not be entertained anymore.
5. Scoring will follow the 50% (♥️) reactions, and 50% judges' vote.
6. Score will be added to the overall scoring on the final day of the pageant.
7. The winning entry will be presented during the finale, and the candidate will receive a
special award and certificate.

QUESTION AND ANSWER PORTION

1. There are two (2) rounds of questions and answers for the candidates.
2. In the first-round candidates will be given hashtag;
3. And In the second-round candidates will be given a question to answer
Take Note: Candidates will be given 60 seconds to answer and there will be deduction of
points if the time allotted is not complied.
4. Candidates will be joining the live for question and answer.
5. There will be a wheel of names for the sequence of answering the questions
6. Candidates’ internet connection should be stable.
7. The winner will receive prizes and get the title of Mr. and Ms. PESOLYMPICS

GUIDELINES:
1. Each team must create an original and visually appealing Facebook frame that must not
contain any prohibited elements.
2. The name of the team, the official MSU logo, Team logo and the PESO logo must all be
included in the official Facebook frame. Colors that are assigned in each team must be
dominant in the FB Frame created.

3. Entries must be submitted in PNG format and include a caption for checking and verification

6. Add the same caption for every team that will be used by the members upon adding the fb
frames in their profile pictures. No Caption, not counted.
7. CAPTION must revolve and depicts the theme of the PESOLYMPICS 2021. Also, include
the following:

8. FB Frame will be posted on June 21 at exactly 11:59PM and the final counting of the no. of
members who have used the frame will end on (June 23) at 11:59pm.
9. Throughout the PESOLYMPICS2k21, each team member should use their official team frame.

Event Title: REACTION BATTLE

1. This game consists of four teams
2. This game consists of three battle rounds (Elimination, Semi-final and Final Round)

3. The more reaction the more the points! The team who has the most points will win the game.
Elimination Round: (4 Teams)
Battle 1: In this round where two teams (A and B) will be assigned to a certain publication
materials. For example, Team A is for “😂” react and Team B is for “❤️” react. Most numbers of
reaction which is assigned to the team wins.
Battle 2: This round is for Teams C and D. The same mechanics as battle one, they will be given
another set of publication materials.
Battle 3: The wild card round. This is for loser teams in battle one and battle two. Also have the
same mechanics as like the previous two battles. The loser of this round will be eliminated.
The winner of battle 1, 2, and 3 will advance to Semi-final round
NOTE: Only 10 minutes will be given for every battle for the elimination round
Semi-final Round: (3 Teams)
The admin will post a new set of publication materials. This time, the three teams will compete
together for the throne. The two teams who have the most reactions will win and proceed to the
final round. The team who has the least reactions will be eliminated.
NOTE: Only 15 minutes will be given for the semi-final battle

Final Round: (2 Teams)

This round added some spice to make it more interesting and teamwork required. The admin will
put up a situation/scenario where every member of each team will give a photo reaction as a
response. They will comment their reaction through the comment section the admin prepared.
The team who has the most numbers of members commented in the comment section prepared
by the facilitators will win the game!

General Mechanics and Guidelines:
1. The contestants must be a bona fide student of Mindanao State University and enrolled in
the Physical Education course.
2. He/she must not be involved in any part of the administration and implementation of the
contest.
3. Each team must provide 2 participants for each category.

4. In case a participant cannot attend the said contest, replacements shall hereby be applied.
5. Only boards/clean bond papers and chalk/pentel pens must be used during the activity,
these are to be provided by the participants themselves. Materials other than the
previously stated are not allowed.
6. There is only one (1) category for the quiz bee, namely: Physical Education subjects
7. Since the contest is to be held virtually, Zoom Meetings will be used.
8. Any technical disturbance from the participants during the activity will automatically be
regarded as a warning or disqualification, depending on the length and severity of
interruption. So, all participants must secure a strong internet connection and a non-
lagging device.

9. Questions will be flashed in a PowerPoint presentation and will only be read twice by the
quizmasters.
10. The subject will consist of three rounds: EASY, AVERAGE and DIFFICULT.
11. The rounds will have a particular time limit to answer the questions.
Easy: 15 seconds
Average: 30 seconds
Difficult: 60 seconds
Easy round will consist of 10 questions, 1 point for each correct answer.
Average round will consist of 5 questions, 3 points for each correct answer.
Difficult round will consist of 5 questions, 5 points for each correct answer.
12. Protest/s or clarification regarding a particular question shall be raised before the next
question is asked; otherwise, such protests will not be recognized. If protests or
clarifications are raised, the contestants are advised not to erase their answers until the
protests are settled.
13. In case of a faulty question and incorrect answer to the question, the question and points
will be counted, and the quiz master shall provide another question according to the round
and category.
14. Tiebreaker questions will be provided if deemed necessary.
15. The participants are only allowed to answer until the quizmasters tell them to do so.
