Steps for using Google slides for students

Introduction
Google slides is a very powerful tool for working different activities and collaborating with each
other during online learning.

The following steps explains how to connect to google slides with google account.

1: Students copy the link sent to them by the teacher in the public chat area and
paste this link in the address bar of the browser then press ‘Enter’ key.

3: Students enter the password for their google account and click on next one.

4: google slides opens with the google account of the students. Each student will
select the slide number according to their groups to work the activity.

5: To enter a text response in google slides, the group editor
clicks on the ‘T’ button next to the arrow on the tool bar and enters the text

6: Students can increase the font by clicking on the ‘+’ or ‘-‘, they can change the
colour of the font by clicking on ‘A’ button

7: Students can undo anything the made by mistake by clicking
on ‘undo’ button a number of times till the mistake is removed.

8: Students can move any object by dragging it to the required place.

Move the mouse pointer towards the object to be dragged till its pointer changes to an arrow cross
pointer , now click on the object and don’t release it while moving to the required place.

9: Students can change the orientation of an object by clicking
and holding the small blue circle that appears above it, then drag the mouse to
rotate the object.
