2. Why this role?

Make investment strategies.

During my Exchange program I took two courses focused on finances:

- Corporate Finance in Emerging Economies and Investments

So I have knowledge enough about finance and markets, and how they work.

As an actuary One thing we learned is about pension fund and insurance business so I can contribute
with the things I know that are different from what most of the people know, Actuarial sciences is not
a common career. We also have some courses about macroeconomics and markets views that I
strengthen during my period in Amsterdam.

I am someone that considers myself as someone organized, responsible and proactive. I am good
team pleayer and a leader.

I know English because I lived in Canda for six months, so I don’t any inconvenient with the language
and with speaking with native speakers.

3. How are the three financial statements linked?

Income statement, Cash flow statement and balance sheet.

Net income from the income statement flows to the balance sheet and cash flow statement
Depreciation is added back and CapEx is deducted on the cash flow statement, which determines
PP&E (Property plant and equipment) on the balance sheet

Financing activities mostly affect the balance sheet and cash from finalizing, except for interest, which
is shown on the income statement

The sum of the last period’s closing cash balance plus this periods cash from operations, investing, and
financing is the closing cash balance on the balance sheet

5. What are the greatest challenges the financial sector will face in the next 5 years?

6. Provide an example of a time when you assessed a problem and understood its root causes. How did
you analyze the information?

When I lived in Canada I worked in shelter for homeless people called Anawim House. I was in charge
of keeping with the supplies (cleaning supplies, clothes) for the homeless people. There was this time
that were not enough bar soaps for all the people there, and they furious about it, because some of
the people shower there and they went to interview jobs. The problem was at 9 a.m so I didn’t have a
lot of time to solve the issue. The first thing I did was to talk to the person in charge of the shelter and
the solution we found was to go to hotels nearby and asked them for the bar soaps the they hadn’t
use for the last few weeks, they accepted our request after we explained the situation and after all
the problems the people were able to go to their interviews.

7. What would you do if you were unable to meet a deadline?

During the summer of 2020 I worked In a company called Francom, that specializes in electronics.
They received audio and visual equipment from the US and they sell it to hospitals o shopping malls.
During my period there I worked in the inventory area and I was in charge of keeping up with some
equipment that was coming from the U.S and then we needed to deliver to a Hospital in a city called
Tapachula in the south of Mexico. My boss asked to make a document to make sure everything was
ok, but I didn’t have enough experience in that area and also I was completing a course form my
university during the same summer. When he asked me to the document, I also was preparing my
final exam. I asked my boss if it there was no problem if I took take some time to prepare the
document and prepare for my final exam. He allowed me to deliver the document 3 days after the
initial date and I was able to study for my exam.

8. Which is better: meeting a deadline or doing a perfect job?

Punctuality is important in her fast-moving business, as is having realistic expectations for yourself.
having the ability to juggle many different things and meet deadlines

I believe meeting deadlines is a factor of quality work. They complete each other. On the other hand
meeting deadlines should not compromise the quality of work therefore project management is
significant and critical when it comes to planning.

9. What skill sets do you think will help you exceed at this job?
Actuarial sciences is a career that helps you get knowledge from different subjects. The main focused
is to manage risk and look for the the best possible scenario. Also I have more than enough
knowledge of finance economics, administration.

My English is more than enough to speak to a native speaker. I lived in Canada for 6 months after I
finished high school. Also I have the A C1 level of English or a 7.5 in IELTS. Uses the conventions of the
communicative task effectively to hold the target reader’s attention and communicate straightforward
and complex ideas as appropriate.

I am hardworker responsible and organized person. I consider someone that focused on special details
and I can communicate with all people without having any problem. All the the time with respect of
course. I am team player and a leader. Always looking to exceed my expectations and a resilient
person.

10. JPMorgan has a diverse group of people, explain a time how you worked with a diverse group of
people and explain your experience

During my exchange program in Amsterdam I enrolled in one course called DIVO we needed to deliver
three team projects. I didn’t know anyone in my class so my first challenge was to form a team. I
talked to the guy next me in my classroom an we form a team. Then he had some friends there and
wey form a team that included a one guy from Peru, one from Brasil one from Italy and one from the
Netherlands.

At the beginning it was difficult because each one had their one way to work and we couldn’t
organized. My and the guy from Peru were the ones that make the team work properly. I{ learned we
need to respect he way other people work and the dulctural differences. Learn to delegate.

11. Explain a time you had a difficult situation and what you did to overcome it? What's a time you saw
something wrong in a team/project/activity you were doing?
