Novec System - Commissioning and Testing

The document outlines testing procedures for a fire detection and alarm system with an FM 200 system. It includes checking that (1) detectors function properly, (2) cross-zone detection and associated equipment activate as intended, and (3) manually triggering the system causes proper discharge and equipment response. It also involves testing the standby power supply by (1) checking for trouble signals and proper voltage when the battery is disconnected and reconnected, and (2) running the system on battery power alone for 30 minutes after 48 hours without main power. The client and contractor must sign off to accept or reject the system based on whether it passes testing.
