description ensures that companies are able to find the most appropriate candidates for the
job. It explains the requirements of a job opening and different tasks that the employee may
be assigned. Job specification plays an important role by clarifying the eligibility criteria for a
job. It ensures that only those individuals apply for the job who have the required set of
qualifications and skills. It provides an opportunity to the organization to carry out
performance analysis and evaluation of the employees.
