ABSTRACT OF THE PROJECT
Nearly everyone goes on a vacation and a Travel & Tourism
management system would play a vital role in planning the
perfect trip. The tourism management system allows the
user of the system access all the details such as weather,
location, events, etc. The main purpose is to help tourism
companies to manage customer and hotels etc. The system
can also be used for both professional and business trips.
The proposed system maintains centralized repository to
make necessary travel arrangements and to retrieve
information.

INTRODUCTION
“Travel and Tourism” is the online Tourism Information
System which is travel for recreational leisure,family and
business purposes,usually of limited duration.Tourism is
commonly associated with trans-national travel.But many
also refer to travel to another location within the same
country or internationally. Tourism has numerous tangible
and intangible elements.Major tangible elements include
transportation, accommodation and other components of
hospitality industry. Major intangible elements relate to
the purpose or motivation for becoming a tourist,such as
rest,relaxation, the opportunity to meet new people and
experiences other cultures, or simply to do something
different and have an adventure.Due to India's rich
industry ,its cultural and geographical diversity, makes it
international tourism. We present heritage and cultural
tourism along with various features.
MY ROLE IN PROJECT
I have taken my initiative to work on the structure of the
project using HTML,to add innovative syntactical
features.Basically my work is to provide the body to project
OBJECTIVE
To develop a web based application which includes
1. To provide best travelling services to the customers and travel agents.
2. To provide a search platform where a tourist can find their tour places
according to their choices.
3. To provide responsible and interesting tourism so that they enrich the
tourism so that people can enjoy their holidays at their favorable
places.
4. To develop tourism with different cultures so that they enrich the
tourism experiences and build pride.
5. To create and promote forms of tourism that provide healthy
interaction opportunities for tourists and locals and increase better
understanding of different cultures, customs, lifestyles, traditional
knowledge and believes.
6. To provide a better way to connect with various events.
ADVANTAGES
1. Information on tourist attractions, cities, and provinces.
2. Searching tours based on location.
3. Travel and Tourism Management system also manage the details online
for Customer, Travel Agent, Package, Transportation, Booking, Hotel,
Tour.
4. Manage the information of customer.
5. Show the information and the description of the package.
6. To increase efficiency of managing the booking.
7. Manage the information of travel agent.
8. Editing, adding and updating of records is improved which results in
proper resource management of travel and tourism.

Methodology And Implementation
Model view controller as it is popularly called is a software design pattern for
developing web applications. A model view controller pattern is made up of the
following three parts:
MODEL: The lowest level of the pattern which is responsible for maintaining
Data.
VIEW: This is responsible for displaying all or the portion of the data to the
User.
CONTROLLER: Software code that controls the interactions between the
model and view .
MVC is popular as it isolates the application logic from the user interface layer
and supports separation of concerns. Here the controller receives all requests for
the application and then works with model to prepare any data needed by the
View. The View then uses the data prepared by controller to generate final
presentable response. The MVC abstractions can graphically represented as
follows:
