1. Software Installation
Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager Install and Uninstall
System requirement:
⚫ RAM > 2GB

Software Installation
1. Find installation package and run “Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager.exe”

2.1. Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager Operation and Setting
Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager has two sections:

2.2. Online SNMP Card List
When open Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager, it will automatically search all available online SNMP cards
from the network with its serial number, IP address, MAC address. Double click on the specific SNMP card
with valid IP address, it will direct to the SNMP card’s webpage. (List

2.3. SNMP card Information
Click on your SNMP card, hardware, firmware, and MAC address information will display in the column. It
will also display the number of SNMP card that is/are found by Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager and selected.

2.4. Launch Web User Interface
Select specific SNMP card from the list and click on Launch Web User Interface to login to the SNMP card
webpage.

2.5. SNMP Card Network Settings
• When SNMP card is connected for the first time, please ensure IP address and network setting are

2.6. SNMP Card Firmware Upgrade
Please follow instruction shown below to Firmware Upgrade.
• This is to upgrade or reload the firmware to the Easy UPS 3PH SNMP card. Please ensure correct

(1) Click on the specific SNMP card from the Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager – Online SNMP
card list
(2) Press and hold on CTRL key then select multiple SNMP cards from the list=> this method is

last SNMP in the list =>This method can be operated if all SNMP cards in the list are of the same
model

• While upgrading, the red and yellow LED will flash alternatively, or red led will keep flashing.

2.10.1. Information > UPS Status
This page is to show the current UPS connection status in graphic mode with Voltage, Frequency and other
information.

This page shows UPS information/Battery Information/Rating Information. The data is obtained from the

2.10.6. Information > SMS Modem Status
This page shows the Modem status when GPRS modem is connecting with SNMP card.
2.10.7. Information > Netfeeler
This page shows the environmental status when USB NetFeeler/ NetFeeler II and its accessories are
compatible protocol which your UPS supported from the list. Wrong protocol selected would cause no
UPS Serial Number: this data can be written and saved into SNMP card.
UPS Voltage Rating(V): In order to save some key information, SNMP card can accept user to set UPS
Date of Last Battery replacement(mm/dd/yyyy) : Enter the date of last battery replacement for battery
maintenance.

• Time out after loss of connection: Send warning alarm when your SNMP card is disconnected
• Critical Load (%) : Send warning alarm when UPS loading reaches at this % configured.
• UPS Temperature (℃) : Send warning alarm when UPS temperature reaches at this ℃
configured.
• Critical Capacity (%) : Send warning alarm when UPS battery capacity reaches at this %
configured

2.10.11. Configuration > Network > IPv4
This page is to set SNMP card’s Network settings. IP address of SNMP card can be obtained through
drop-down list with options including Manual, Using DHCP. If the IP address and DNS has been configured
in Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Manager, your information will display automatically here.

This is a free service that allows the user to alias a dynamic IP address to a static hostname. Ensure

2.10.15. Configuration > Network > PPPOE
Use this option to allow SNMP card to connect to the Internet directly using your xDSL modem by PPPoE.
Enter the Login name and password to enable the connection. Once set-up, SNMP card will connect directly
to the Internet, any abnormal connection failure would also cause re-dial

This page is to configure Easy UPS 3PH SNMP card settings to be used by NMS (Network Management
System).

2.10.17. Configuration > SNMP > Access Control
• Manager IP Address:
This is to set the IP address that the administrator can manage SNMP card from. It is valid for up
to 8 IP addresses. To manage SNMP card from any IP address, enter *.*.*.* into Manager IP
address.
• Version:
This is to select V3, user name, password, authentication and privacy are required
• Community:
This section is to set a Community name for NMS. The community name has to be as the same as
• Permission:
This is to set authorities of administrators. Options are Read, Read/Write, and No Access.
• Description:
At least 8 characters

After clicking this arrow, users must input User Name, Auth. Protocol, Auth. Password, Privacy Protocol,
Privacy Password and must make sure set same information in Easy UPS 3PH Shutdown Software side,
because it’s a connection channel setting between SNMP card and Shutdown software, setting information
should be same.
2.10.18. Configuration > SNMP > Trap Notification
Trap Notification
• Destination IP Address: To set receivers IP address for receiving traps sent by SNMP card. It is
• Accept: Select the trap type of its SNMP version or Inform from drop down list. When SNMPv3
required.
• Community: Trap receiver and Easy UPS 3PH SNMP card must be the same community. (Default
is public)
• Trap Type: Select from PPC MIB or RFC1628 MIB (Default is PPC) * MIB file is available in the
CD
• Severity: This section is to set Trap level for each receiver. There are three levels as below -
Information: To receive all traps. -Warning: To receive only “warning” and “severe” traps. -
Severe: To receive only “severe” traps. (Please refer to NMS manual for Trap levels.)
• Events: This is to select events for SNMP card to send traps. Click on Select to show the full
Events List. Click on Test to send test trap to ensure all setting is correct
Send Power Restore and Adaptor Restore Traps for X time(s) in X second(s) Interval.
This is to set number of traps to send in preset seconds when power restore on SNMP card. This also checks
if the communication between trap receiver and SNMP card remains well or not after power recovers

• SNMP Inform Request
This is to set the number of times that the SNMP card can request a response from the
sending Inform host with a preset value. (Default is 3 times and an interval of 5 seconds)

2.10.21. Configuration > Email > Email for Event Log
To receive email notification. To set email addresses for receiving warning email sent by Easy UPS 3PH
SNMP Web User Interface when selected event occurs. It is valid for up to 8 Email addresses.
This section is to set email addresses to receive Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Web User Interface’s Daily Report at
pre-set time. It is valid for up to 4 email addresses. Daily report will be the content of event and data log.

2.10.23. Configuration > SMS
When UPS events occurs, it allows Short Message Signals (“SMS”) to be sent and received using a
GSM/GPRS/CDMA Modem. Operation information are as below for single and three ports of SNMP card.
• SMS Setting:
➢ Use Local Modem:When GSM modem is connected to SNMP card directly (Refer to SMS
➢ Use Remote Service:When GSM modem connects to PC with SMS Server software installed

If select to use Remote Service to send SMS, then enter the IP address of the SMS Server. (The PC that

This is to upload the SSL certificate. When both public key and certificate are uploaded to Easy UPS 3PH
SNMP Web User Interface web server, the communication will be encrypted by SSL
(To communicate via Https, make sure to enable Https port 443.)

NetFeeler is the external optional environmental sensor. It is to detects temperature, humidity and water.
NetFeeler has RF receiver built-in to work with extension sensors such as smoke, security sensor.

To set the lowest and highest critical values for temperature and humidity. NetFeeler will send a warning
message when it detects temperature or humidity values below and above these settings.

NetFeeler may connect up to 7 security sensors that communicate via RF. This section is to set the location or

Interface Language
To set the language of Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Web User Interface pages, when first login to the webpage of
Easy UPS 3PH SNMP Web User Interface, it will auto detect the OS language of the PC and shows the same
language accordingly.

Email Preference
Click on Save to save the configuration to your PC. The text file will have a default format of
YYYY_MMDD_####.cfg.
