DELTRON POWER, KOLHAPUR
It is led by young & dynamic entrepreneur Mr.Nikhil Mane. He completed Diploma in Industrial
Electronics and also he graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication. Person with engineering power
and the youngest professor, Masters in technology with specialization in Digital Signal and Image
Processing.He is Winner at MCU Design Contest 2013 held at Bangalore by Texas Instruments.He
known for his skills in design and development of various innovative electronic products. He designed DSP
based UPS system.
Deltron Power is UPS manufacturing company located in plot no 7,Datta colony, Nerli tamgav
Road, Near Royal Kitchen Trolley, Ujlaiwadi, Kolhapur. Deltron is an ISO certified company and a
recognized manufacturers of UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) .Single phase and Three phase
UPS, and provide various services like, AMC,UPS on Rent and OLD battery buy back, etc.

DETAILS OF INTERNSHIP
2.1: OBJECTIVE: -
Introduction to different types of Component.
To design the Different Cards.
Hands-on training, on project.
2.2: TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGY USED: -
In this internship there are different tools are used: PROTEUS and KEIL
2.2.1: PROTEUS: -
Proteus is a simulation and design software use for lab center Electronic for Electrical and
Electronic design circuits. Proteus is the best simulation software for various with microcontroller. It is
mainly common software because of availability of almost all microcontrollers in it. So it is a handy tool
test programs and embedded designs for electronic hobbyist. You can see your programming in Proteus
Software.

2.2.2: KEIL: -
KEIL is The most comprehensive software development solution for Arm-based microcontrollers and
includes all the components needed to design, build and debug embedded applications.

HIGHLIGHTS OF TRAINING
3.1.ACTIVITY PERFORMED:
3.1.1.Introduction And Soldering
First we took all information about the UPS.
We started our training from identifying different types of resistors from colour code.
Took information about all types of diodes , capacitors, IC, step up transformer, etc with
specifications.
After taking information of all components, we make the soldering of driver card of machine
As well as soldering of control card and SMPS of machine.

The fig.3 Shows, SMPS means (switching-mode power supply, switch mode power supply,
switched power supply or switcher) is an electronic power supply that incorporates a switching
regulator to convert electrical power efficiency like other power supplies, an SMPS transfer power
from a DC to AC source to DC loads, such as a personal computer, while converting voltage and
current characteristics.

3.1.2.Machine Assembly:
We understand the assembly process of machine we assembled 3 kvA 96 V machine .in that we use
4 step up transformer , output/ step down transformer, heat sink it is used to absorb the heat of IGBT.
IGBT it is most important part of machine it is an insulated gate bipolar transistor is a three terminal
power semiconductor device primarily used as an electronic switch, which, as it was developed,
came to combine high efficiency and fast switching.
Than shunt resistor is connected. Fan is connected for Cooling purpose, than we make transform
wiring than we took the machine cards as per type after that cards are connected using connector at
last stage the display is connected after that the machine is ready for testing.

3.1.3Testing process:
We understood the testing process of PCB.
We understood the testing process of step up transformer driver card and SMPS in that testing we
test the range of all diodes.
We understood and observe the machine testing different types test they took.
HV test.
Short circuit test.
Battery backup test.
Overload protection test.
Under voltage protection test.
All protection test we have observe.
