Duties and Responsibilities of a Teacher, Master Teacher and Head Teachers
As Teachers, we go beyond teaching. The speaker shared so much about being a teacher not
just teaching the subject but teaching life. We are more than just the duties and responsibilities, but
we are more of preparing students how to be “Mabuting tao na may pagmamahal sa bansa.”
Through the session, we were inspired to post in our social media about the passion of being a
teacher. These are some of the outputs.

Code of Ethics
For us teachers who have been working for a while, the LAC session was a great refresher.
We had that LAC session, and I'm really glad we did because it taught me so much.
First, it made me realize that humans as we are, we tend to become lax as years pass by
thinking that we are already experts in the field. However, this mentality must be changed. We must
not forget that teachers hold a great responsibility to the school, to the community, and even to the
profession itself.
Second, providing all Filipino students with a high-quality education is prioritized in the Code of
Ethics for Teachers. This suggests that in order to increase productivity and solidify our competence,
we must upgrade ourselves by obtaining additional education.
Third, the Code of Ethics serves as a reminder that we are extremely fortunate to work in the
most honorable line of work in the world. Therefore, we must refrain from doing anything that may
bring discredit to our profession on the moral front.
And last, after reading the Code of Ethics, I have a strong desire to improve as a teacher and
be more effective while always remembering that I AM AN AGENT IN BUILDING A GOOD NATION.

Standard Test Constructions (TOS)
A Table of Specifications is used to specify the areas of achievement that are being evaluated
as well as to guarantee that a fair and representative sample of questions will appear on the exam.
Every topic or target cannot be measured, and teachers are not always able to ask all the questions
they would like to. A Table of Specifications enables the teacher to create a test that concentrates on
the important topics and weights the various topics according to their significance. A Table of
Specifications gives the instructor proof that an exam is valid in terms of content, or that it covers the
material that should be covered.
Students gain from a table of specifications in two different ways. It first increases the reliability
of tests created by teachers. Additionally, it can enhance students' learning.
A Table of Specifications aids in making sure that the material tested and what is taught
match. The teaching in the classroom, which is motivated by the aims and objectives of the course,
should drive the assessment in the classroom. Tables of Specifications serve as the link between
instruction and assessment.

ICT Integration
Integrating ICT in education is an instructional choice by you the teacher and it involves
collaboration and deliberate planning in addition to always having you as the teacher to participate.
The integration of ICT in education is when you as the classroom teachers use ICT to introduce,
reinforce, extend, enrich, assess, and remediate student mastery of curricular targets.
ICT in education increases student engagement and knowledge retention: Students are more
focused on their work when ICT is incorporated into lessons. This is because using technology to
teach the same concepts in various ways can make learning more entertaining and fun.
Teaching Strategies
The use of teaching tactics in the classroom is crucial. Teachers would be haphazardly
projecting material that doesn't connect with students or interest them without the usage of a
technique. Strategies foster engagement, connection, and enthusiasm in the delivery of the content.
