Scene 3:

Hiring Manager 1: Ok, Can we start our interview now?

Hiring Manager 2: Sorry, I don't think so, because we are going to have 3
interviewees today, but there are only 2 interviewees here right now.
Hiring Manager 3: Oh, really! I think we can wait a little longer, maybe he/she is
facing some issues.
Hiring Manager 4: I did not agree! I think we should start directly because people
who are late can't be given a chance.
Hiring Manager 5: I also agree with what hiring manager 4 said. It's unfair to other
interviewers.
Hiring Manager 1: Well, let us listen to the interviewees, if they agree to wait for
another interviewee, then we will wait, if not we will start directly. Do you agree,
interviewees?
Interviewee 1: I have no opinion, I agree.
Interviewee 2: No problem, I also agree to wait for another interviewee.
Hiring Manager 2: The interviewees agreed, so we will just wait.
Hiring Manager 4: They all agreed, what can I say? Just wait.
Interviewee 3: I am so sorry. I am late. My network suddenly has some problems. I
am really sorry for keeping everyone waiting for me.
Hiring Manager 3: It is ok, maybe someone will face this problem. This is something
we cannot predict.
Hiring Manager 1: Ok, everyone is here, we can start our interview now. Welcome to
choose our company. Please introduce yourself.
Interviewee 1: Good morning madam. My name is 【 YOUR NAME 】. I come from 【

YOUR STATE 】. I study at the local university, Universiti Malaysia Perlis.

Interviewee 2: Good morning. My name is 【 YOUR NAME 】. I come from 【 YOUR

STATE 】. I also study at the local university, UniMAP.

Interviewee 3: Hello everyone. My name is 【 YOUR NAME 】. I come from 【 YOUR

STATE 】. I study at UniMAP.

Hiring Manager 5: Wow, that is incredible! You guys are students at the same
university! In the resume, I saw that you are also studying in the same department.
So, do you know each other? Are you not afraid that some of them will lose the
election?
Hiring Manager 2: Enough, Hiring Manager 5. It's interview time now, please stop
talking about irrelevant interview questions.
Hiring Manager 3: Let me ask a question. How do you feel about this interview or
how did you prepare for this interview?
Interviewee 1: I found out about this job through an advertisement. I did not do much
preparation, I just prepared for the resume, searched for information on the Internet
and so on.
Interviewee 2: I found out about this job through a friend's recommendation. When I
decided to do this job, I began to keep asking my friends what to pay attention to and
what to prepare.
Interviewee 3: I found this job through a job search website. When finding this job, I
will first understand everything in this company to make sure it is a company that I
can trust and work for a long time. Next, I will start writing the resume. I will seek
help from people with work experience and do some research online. Finally, I will
ask family and friends what things that I need to pay attention to and keep in mind to
prevent mistakes.
Hiring Manager 4: What do you think you have in yourself for us to choose you?
Interviewee 1: First, I think it is my academic qualifications, because the knowledge I
have learned is very suitable for this profession. Second, I think it's my character. I
am highly resistant to stress and very easy-going. Besides, I'm also very punctual
and I'm rarely late during school.
Interviewee 2: ( nervous ) I… I… I think my work experience gives me confidence
that I can do the job. As long as the holiday comes, I will go outside to work. I work
with people from different walks of life, so I think I can handle relationships well.
What's more, the knowledge I have learned is also related to this profession.
Interviewee 3: My job goal is to have access to all departments, so I chose the
human resource profession. Like the other two interviewers, I have learned about
this aspect. Moreover, I often hold the position of team leader in school. I think being
able and responsible can manage and lead this department well.
Hiring Manager 5: Next, we will give 3 problems that you may face in this job in the
future, and you need to talk about the solutions. Everyone will be given 3 minutes to
come up with a solution. The first question is if the employees in the company are
often late, as HR, what will you do?
Hiring Manager 2: The second question is if your boss and your team leader asked
you to do different things at the same time, who would you do first and why?
Hiring Manager 3: The final question is that in the human resource department, your
best friend often asks you to advance her salary for some reason. What would you
do and why?
Hiring Manager 5: Time will start from now, 3, 2, 1, start.
After 3 minutes:
Hiring manager 4: Times up, let us start with the one who was late just now.
Interviewee 3: Ok. For the first question, as HR, I will give them 3 chances and give
them a warning. If I commit the crime again after 3 times, I will directly report to the
boss to find out. For the second question, I will arrange which one to help complete
the work first according to the importance of the event. I think it is wrong to help the
boss first and then help the team leader. We should see which one is more urgent
and deal with it first before helping the other. Regarding the last question, I think that
the wages are not managed by our department, but by the financial management, so
I can't help him, and I won't help him, because he can't give the real reason, which
will make it hard for me to explain to my boss.
Interviewee 1: Let me answer that next. First of all, I don't think they should be given
opportunities. This is because they will continue to make mistakes if they are given
opportunities, and they don't think they are wrong. According to the second question,
I think the boss should be helped first. This is because the boss is the one who pays
us wages. If I offend the boss, I may be fired. As a HR, if my friend needs money and
has no reason, I will help him ask the boss and then help him according to the
situation.
Interviewee 2: ( nervous ) I. . . I. . . I. . . I'm really sorry, I can't answer these
questions, these questions make it difficult for me to choose.
Hiring Manager 1: It is Ok. That's all for our interview today. Thank you so much for
being here. You can leave and wait for the good news.
Interviewee 1&2&3: Thank you.
