(If these verbs are followed by another afford advise

He doesn´t allow smoking in his house. eg. I can´t afford to go on holiday. (no TO in this structure)
He recommended staying in that hotel. She´s decided to give up her job. help

He agreed to lend me some money. make
VERB + -ing / to inf. You are not allowed to smoke here.
