Chapter 4

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This chapter present the results, analysis and interpretation of data gathered from

the answers to the questionnaires distributed to the field. The said data were presented

in tabular form in accordance with the specific questions posited on the statement of the

problem.

According to Table, 50% of the respondent has the age of 17-18 answered the

questionnaire, 30% from the age of 19-20, 10% from the age of 21-22, 5% from the age

of 23-24 and 5% from the age of 25-26. Therefore, most of our respondent came from

17-18 of age and answered our questionnaire.

Based on the table. Our Female and Male respondent are same 50%. Therefore,

majority of our respondent are female and male because it's same having 50%.

The table shows that the question number 3 got the first place on the ranking with

2.75 weighted mean that followed by question number 5 with a weighted mean of 2.6

meanwhile, question number 4 with a weighted mean of 2.5 tells the negative impact of

the social media on self-esteem, and the question number 1 with the weighted mean of

2.4 and question number 2 got the lowest place in the rank with a 2.25 weighted mean.
