Using Azure Storage Explorer
In this Lab we will go through the azure storage explorer.
In this lab we will be using same storage account of our previous lab (Creating Storage account).
Select your storage account
Now this particular tool is available within azure itself.
In our storage account we have Storage explorer which is currently in preview state so here
you access to all of these services
Your blob Containers
Your file shares
Your Queues
Your tables
Now at the same time you could also go ahead and download the Storage explorer too.
So this is a free tool that's available for download.

So any one external or you want other people to go ahead and fetch data from your storage
account. You could ask them to use it as your storage explorer.
So it's a very simple download and installs option.
Go ahead and download the tool
Go ahead with the installation
Once the installation is complete
You can go out and launch it as your storage explorer
Now to start working with this storage Explorer
You can go on to manage accounts
Add an account
Now there are different ways in which you can actually authenticate to and add your storage
account. Let’s go with the first option which is add and an azure account
Next it allows us to authenticate
So we’ll introduce ID and password
Once authenticated and you can see your subscription.
You can then go ahead and click on Apply
You can go ahead and see the storage accounts which you have as part of your subscription.
You can see blob containers
You can go well onto container.
You can see the object within your container.
You have the options to upload blobs onto this container.
You can download the blob.
You can create a new folder
So there are a lot of aspects that you can actually carry out on your storage account using
your storage explorer.
