lV. Project Location:
This project will be initiated in one of the localities in Himamaylan City which is in Barangay Su-ay.
The conduct of entire program and set of activities will be held in Sitio Bita which is one of the
populated areas in the said Barangay that is suitable for the scope of the project. The proper conduct
of the activities will be situated in the covered court near the area to ensure the comfort of the clients
and also to maintain an organize and successful flow of the various activities.
V. Beneficiaries:
The said project will focus on the children situated in the Barangay Su-ay, Himamaylan City. Specifically,
those children who are identified malnourished and underweight. We will be identifying the beneficiaries
with the help of the local government or the Barangay officials. An estimated 40-50 children belonging in
this scale will be provided with the services.
VI. Resource/Funding Requirement:
The resources that will be utilized in the duration of this project will derive from the contribution of every
member/trainees. Each member will contribute 100 to cover the total cost of the things needed in the
conduct of activity. In addition this, we will also establish collaboration with the LGU along with their
respective feeding program with the aid of their budget allocated in their extended program towards
the community.

be the torch that will illuminate the way in order to achieve the objective of this course not just in delivering

concerning their well-being. This will be in response with the call for a more aware and informed community.
Leading the way towards a healthier and responsible individuals which will alleviate the way in addressing the
issues circulating around them. Breeding a generation of children which will be developing the sense of
responsibility towards the society and in becoming the catalyst of change and progress .

X. General Objectives:
These projects aim to lessen hunger and malnutrition among children and nurture young minds with values
and knowledge through the basic foundation of literacy. Furthermore, this also aim to educate children
about the importance of proper hygiene, health and sanitation. Basically, this project will also enable the
improvement of nutritional health of the clients through the direct monitoring among such stunted and

wasted children and to prepare them for academic success through the cultivation of critical thinking,
values and skills.
XII. Specific Objectives:
Specifically, this proposal seeks to:
A. Address the issue about malnutrition and the significance of proper hygiene among children.
B. Support the cognitive development of the clients by giving them a diverse instructional materials
C. Raise awareness in various issues concerning their community
D. Combat malnutrition and unhealthy habits
E. Cultivate their love for reading
F. Foster values and rich perspective
XIl. Methodology:
After the presentation, finalization, and approval of the proposal. The trainees will then proceed
with the proper conduct of our project. Firstly, the trainees will be gathering information on the
target beneficiaries with the help of the record/document from the Barangay Officials. Then, the
trainees will re-evaluate how to fully utilize the funds to purchase everything that they will be
needing. An orientation for the individual roles of each trainee will be done as well for them to
conduct the activities as smoothly and successfully as possible. After this, the trainees will be
having the immersion in their chosen community along with our partner which is the Barangay
Council of Su-ay. A simultaneous conduct of literacy and feeding program will be carried out.
Topics revolving around nutrition, proper hygiene, and values will be discussed by the trainees.
After complying with the required hours in the conduct of the activity, the trainees will be given
tokens/certificates to the participant and partners. An evaluation and feedback will follow to
acknowledge the mishaps and improve the implementation of the projects in the future.
