Data Architect Director
Your role will report into Chief Technology, Digital, and Data Officer. As the
future Corporate Data Architecture Director, you will lead of the company
transformation into a data driven organization, creating solid data
foundations and transforming them into a strategic asset to deliver business
value. You will lead development of the company data strategy and
roadmap and ensures its integration with broader IT and enterprise strategic
plans. You will be responsible for assessing the implications of future data
architecture, platforms, integrations, and processes leading to changes in
how, when, and where to apply the changes. Working in close collaboration
with the leadership group, you will lead an enterprise-wide unified future
of the Data Architecture vision. You, along with your team of bright
individuals, will be expected to scale out and redesign the architecture and
reimagine the necessary changes to achieve the business goals. The data
architecture platform includes a technological stack that allows us to store,
process, and consume data, such as Data Lake on AWS, Redshift, Snowflake,
Nexla, Truera, Treasure Data, Dataiku, Stibo and Atlan, to name a few.

You will assess the organization's data architecture, analytic methods, tool
selection, development strategy and data architecture and engineering
roadmap. Your work will revolve around understanding complex business
models, large and complex data manipulation, and building resilient data
architectures. The position includes management of commitments to and
relationships with technical and business stakeholders within the Company.
This role requires proven practical experience as a data engineer and data
architecture, who can tell the story of our data in business terms. You will
build data-driven solutions to bring the best experiences to our one million
consultants and millions of consumers by working directly with product data
managers to improve the quality of our data tools and infrastructure. And you
will find opportunities to align use cases and simplify our data consumption,
integration, and processing frameworks. Some of the Data Architecture
Director's responsibilities would be:
.- Create a central, unified definition of the future of data architecture for the
organization.
.- Develop the organization’s future data architecture strategy by working with
multiple cross-disciplinary stakeholders.
.- Engage a wide range of stakeholders across the organization in assessing
data trends and their implications on the organization.
Facilitate an ongoing discussion leading to actionable outcomes.
.- Research and develop new data products or services to expand markets,
monetize data (directly and indirectly) and grow company revenue.
.- Exploit data using research and analytics to maximize the return on data
assets, and develop methods to ensure consistent application and use of
analytics.
.- Identify new kinds, types and sources of data to drive business innovation
throughout the organization.
.- Define processes for the effective, integrated introduction of new data.
.- Identify and standardize the use and governance of data and analytics in
support of the enterprise's business strategy.
This includes the governance of data and algorithms used for analysis,
analytical applications and automated decision making.
.- Scan the industry and market to stay up to date on the latest data trends.
.- Establish the organization’s thought leadership in the future of data by
publishing and sharing best practices and insights, both internally and
externally.

- Provide guidance to teams on the development of data solutions (tools,
software and algorithms)
.- Lead a team of subject matter experts on initiatives to achieve the business
goals.
.- Forecast and manage potential risks to the organization’s support on the
strategical initiatives.
.- Lead internal and external communication on the organization's data
architecture initiatives.
