1st Lesson Subject Topic : Preschool English language. : Animals.

Step 1: (5 minutes)

Reflection The first lesson, I start to teach English language with animal as the topic. At the first, I start to introduce myself to the student about my name and told the child what I wanted to do with the child. After finish the simple introduction we start our lesson. During induction set, I was asked some question to the child about the animal. And then what animal did he knew. During the conversation, the child may be unable to understand what I am saying. It was because he studies at the Chinese language preschool. After I knew the situation, I tried to use some Chinese keyword to let him guess what I wanted to told him. I used a lot of body language to the child so that he can understand what I going to do next. During the activities, at the first step I had shown some flash cards that I make about the animals. On the flash cards, there was animal picture and the word about the animal. I had five animals need to teach to the student on this lesson. At the activity one, the student can read the word about the name of the animals on the flash card after I demonstrate to read at the first time than giving instruction to the student to follow my read. I was impress that the student can read very well. During the activity, I also ask the student to spell the alphabet about the animal name on the flash cards. And the student can done it very well too. But some of the alphabet still cant speak it correctly especially q, p, w and n. During the second activity, I want the student to know about the animal sound and to recognize the sound of the animals. In this time, I also having the same problems with the language, the student cant understand what I want student to do. So I also used some of the Chinese word to help the student to understand what I wanted the student to do. At the end of the lesson, I had gave a slide of paper to make sure the student can understand what where he learn just now. It is well done, the student can perform well while complete the exercise.

Activity 2: Teacher show a box of colour pencils. At the same time, teacher gives a paper exercise about the colours. Student will chose a suitable colour pencil to do the exercise.

Reflection

The second lesson, I had plan to teach about colours. So the objective I wanted to teach were five colours, it was white, black, blue, red and yellow. And I also wanted to teach about the colours names and want the student can recognize the colours without knowing the names. So for the materials that I used to teach the student was the flash cards, on the flash card there was the colour and the colours names. During the induction, I had asked the student about what colours did he knows. Besides that, I also asked, what are the colour for his hair, the cloth, the floor and the table. The student can give the name of the colour very well. So after that, I showing my flash cards to the student. Then I start to read from the 1st flash card follow by the student. After student finish read few times. Than we start to spell the alphabets words. We were replied few times until the student can read it correctly with the spelling too. Than we start to the second activity by writing the words on the air. I demonstrate how to do the action than ask the student to follow my action. During this time, the student cannot concentrate because there was a lot of other things to attract him. So keep on calling his name so that his eyes can look back to what we are doing during that time. And for the other one activity, I giving a sheet paper of exercise to the student. Then I give the colour pencil box to the student. The main reason is to make sure that the student can understand my instruction. By using the same colour pencil to draw the line to match with the name of the colour. Maybe some of the colour I print out from the printer are not the same colour that should have in the colour pencil box. So this is somewhere I need to make sure that the material that I will use is suitable.

3rd Lesson Subject Topic Duration Learning Outcomes : Preschool English Language. : Numbers. : 20 minutes : At the end of the lesson, students should be able to: ii) Know how to read the name one, two, three, four and five. ii) Know how to spell the name one, two, three and five. iii) Know how to count the number from one to five.

: Students had learnt that: i) The names of the name. Cow, chicken, duck and sheep.

Reflection On the second days, I was giving the third lesson to the student. The topic for the lesson I want to teach is numbers. In this lesson, my objective for this lesson I want the student can learn the numbers from one to five. And I also want teach the technic how to count the object in number. At the induction, I was gave the student to saw the flash cards. Then the student been asked did he know the numbers. Can you count the numbers for me?.Than the student been asked to read the name on the flash cards. It shows the name of the numbers. After that, student can spell the alphabet correctly. In the next activity, the student been ask to count the animals on the flash card. After that, I ask the student to count the number using his fingers. And the student show that very well. At the end of the lesson, student can read and spell the name of number one to five very well. Beside that he also can count the object using his finger from one to five.

After that, teacher will show others animal flash card on it. So the student will follow the animal on the flash card to make the sound. Example With a chick, chick here and a chick, chick there Here a chick, there a chick, everywhere a chick, chick.. Can change to cow..moo here and moo there.

Conclusion Closure (5 minutes)

Reflection On the fourth lesson, the lesson I wanted to bring out to the student is the music. My objective for this lesson is at the end of the lesson, student can sing the song Old MacDonald has a farm. Children like music, so I try to make this lesson more free and enjoyable to the student. So at the first step I try to sing the song at the first time. Then I show the lyric on the majong paper. I read the lyric at the first time, than follow by the student. We read the lyric replied. After a few times of read the lyric. We sing the song without using the instrument. Than when the student can sing the song very well than I started to get my guitar to suit to the music. When we sing for the first time, the student cannot concentrate to the singing keep on looking on my guitar. Maybe he thinks that, that guitar is the new things for him. So his concentration cannot focus on the singing. So for my suggestion is that, try to find the music and play in the cd. So that student can more familiar to it and able to concentrate to what he doing right there.
