MA: Teaching is both challenging and rewarding,
requiring passion and commitment. What
inspired you to become a teacher? Was
there a specific person, moment, or
experience that led you to choose this path,
and how do you hope to impact your
students through your teaching?"
"I was inspired to become a teacher by a high
I1:
school mentor who showed me the power of
education to change lives. I want to make a
similar impact, helping students grow and
encouraging them to reach their potential."
MA: "What attracted you to our school in particular?
Is there something about our values, teaching
approach that made you feel this is the right
place for you to make an impact as an educator?"
I1: "I’m drawn to your school’s commitment to
fostering a supportive and inspiring
environment. I believe this is the ideal place
to make a meaningful impact and grow
alongside my students."
MA: So, intervier1, as a teacher, you'll often face
challenges with the administration. Imagine a
scenario where the college has refused to
give holidays, even during high-stress
periods. How would you respond?"
(Determined and a bit intense) "Honestly, I
I1: wouldn’t stand for it. I believe teachers have a
right to balance work and rest, just like anyone
else. If the college fails to recognize this, I
would speak up and push back! We’re here to
educate, but that doesn’t mean we should be
taken advantage of."
MA: "Wow, you certainly have a strong stance on this.
Standing up for rights is important, and you’re
clearly not afraid to make your voice heard.
MA: "What are your salary expectations for this
position, considering your experience,
qualifications, and the responsibilities
associated with the role?"
I1: "My salary expectations are flexible and depend on the
responsibilities and the overall compensation package.
However, based on my experience and industry standards, I
would expect a salary in the range of 50lpa-60lpa, with
consideration for benefits and opportunities for growth."
MA: pleasure
"Thank you for your time today. It’s been a
learning more about your background and
approach to teaching. Do you have any final
thoughts or questions for us?"
I1: No ,thankyou sir
MA: "Alright, let’s invite our next candidate, I2.
Please come in."
(Shakes hands) "Good morning (from both sides), I2.
MA: We're glad to have you here. Let’s get started!" Please
hand in your CV
MA: What made you choose our school for your career?
I2: "I chose your school because of its commitment to
student growth and creating an inclusive learning
environment. I believe my teaching philosophy
aligns with your values of fostering creativity and
critical thinking."
MA: candidate1
"Hello, I2. We just finished speaking with
, and they had quite a bold perspective
on handling college pressures—firmly standing up
for teachers’ rights. Would you agree with that
approach?"
I2: "I respect his assertiveness, but I’d handle it
differently. Instead of being aggressive, I’d follow
up with the administration to encourage
understanding and cooperation. Sometimes, it’s
about choosing your battles."
MA: "So, if the college didn't give holidays despite
the pressure, you wouldn’t push back?"
"No, I’d approach it calmly. Communication is key, and
I2: finding solutions professionally can avoid unnecessary
friction. While college pressures are real, staying level-
headed can make a big difference."
MA: Ok very well then , what do you hope to gain from
being a part of our college?
"I hope to gain a supportive environment that
I2: fosters both personal and professional growth. I’m
eager to collaborate with like-minded colleagues,
enhance my skills, and contribute to the
development of students while aligning with the
college’s mission to provide a high-quality
education."
"Thank you for your time today. It’s been a
MA: pleasure learning more about your background and
approach to teaching. Do you have any final
thoughts or questions for us?"
I2: No ,thankyou sir
"Alright, let’s invite our next candidate, I3.
MA: Please come in."
(Shakes hands) "Good morning (from both sides), I2.
MA: We're glad to have you here. Let’s get started!" Please
hand in your CV
MA: "How do you approach teaching in a way that
nurtures students holistically, focusing not just
on academics but also on personal growth?
Instead of simply training them to follow
instructions like robots, how do you encourage
creativity, critical thinking, and independent
progress?"
I3: "I believe teaching should focus on the whole
person, not just academics. I aim to encourage
students to think independently, solve
problems creatively, and develop critical
thinking skills. Rather than simply following
instructions, I want them to understand the
'why' behind what they’re learning. This
approach helps them grow not just as
students, but as well-rounded individuals
ready for real-world challenges."
MA: We’ve heard two perspectives so far: one
aggressive and one diplomatic. one would
push back against the administration, while
the other would work through proper
channels. What about you?
I3: "I’d say I fall somewhere in between. I
understand why one feels the need to be
assertive, but I also appreciate other’s approach.
For me, I see these challenges as part of the
learning experience. College life—and working
within its structure—teaches us resilience and
patience."
MA: "So, you wouldn’t take an aggressive stand if
the college didn’t allow holidays during high-
stress times?"
I3: "No, I think each situation can teach us something.
I’d express my concerns, of course, but I believe
adapting and working through such situations
prepares us for any future environment. Facing
these pressures can actually make us stronger.
MA: "You certainly bring a balanced perspective,
I3. It sounds like you value growth and
flexibility. Thankyou , you may go.
I3: Thankyou sir
