I designed this course for everyone including students, common man and for house wives. After
completing the course the learner will have the basic knowledge of computer’s software and
hardware, and also will be able to understand how a computer system works. The learner will also
be able to use the computer for basic purposes such as surfing the internet, prepare personal
letters, use Microsoft Office apps such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint, maintain personal works,
create MS Word documents, create and maintain monthly budget for home. This course allows a
common man or housewife to be a part of computer users list by making them digitally literate.
This course helps the learner to maintain their small account using the computers and enjoy in the
world of Information Technology. The module on financial literacy will help the learner to
understand the importance of savings and will enable the individuals to understand the various
financial services and be aware of the various schemes of Government of India. The course has
some contents similar to “Basic Computer Course” (BCC) by “National Institute of Electronics and
Information Technology” (NIELIT) but my course is very different from the course provided by
NIELIT.

checking power supply.

Setup; Common utilities.
