Rules and Regulation and General Guideline
This championship will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the Sri
Lanka Aquatic Sports Union (SLASU) and with the assistance of SLASU
officials.
Eligibility:
Swimmers of all the Leeds International School branches are eligible to
participate under the following categories.
Swimmers can participate only in their respective age categories given
below.
Entries will not be accepted without the birth certificate. (Scan and Email)
TIC (Teacher in Charge) should be responsible for writing the correct
full name clearly in the entry form, as it will be written on the certificate.
Please note that no late entries will be entertained under any
circumstance.
Please note one Swimmer can participate in only three (3) individual
events and one relay.
For each individual event maximum of 3 swimmers from each school
can take part.
Age Categories: Girls and Boys
Age Under 08 – Born on or after 01/01/2017 to 31/12/2018
Age Under 10 – Born on or after 01/01/2015 to 31/12/2016
Age Under 12 - Born on or after 01/01/2013 to 31/12/2014
Age Under 14 - Born on or after 01/01/2011 to 31/12/2012
Age Under 16 - Born on or after 01/01/2009 to 31/12/2010
Age Under 20 - Born on or after 01/01/2006 to 31/12/2008
Entry Fees:
Rs. 700/= per individual event
Rs.1200/= Per Relay event

Entries close on
Duly completed entry forms along with the birth certificate certified
by the principal and payment slip should be submitted either by hand,
by registered post, or by E-mail at 3.30 pm on or before the 20th of
June 2024 to the Leeds International School – Maharagama.
Entry fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Special Notes:
During the meet the judge's decisions will be the final decision.
Appeals to the eligibility of swimmers or any technical matters should be
forwarded in writing only by the teacher in charge or any responsible
representative of the branch to the Network Sports Coordinator Mr. Sisira
De Silva before the start of the meet or from within 20 minutes of such
incident accrued.
The participants are expected at Leeds International School, Swimming
Pool Complex – Panadura premises before 7.15 a.m.
Parents are strictly prohibited from entering the pool area.
We will not entertain any parental complaints.

Team officials and Marshaling
Every school should nominate a teacher /Captain who will be responsible
for their team and who must ensure that their swimmers report to the
marshal on time. Failure to comply will result in disqualification.
