CHAPTER II
TECHNOLOGY LEARNED IN COMPANY
Developing an app or a website, typically comes down to knowing 3 main languages: HTML,
CSS, and JavaScript. And while it sounds quite complicated, once you know what you are
doing, understanding web technology and the way it works becomes significantly easier.
HTML: HyperText Markup Language (HTML) is the standard language used to create and structure
web pages. HTML provides the foundational building blocks for web content by defining elements
such as headings, paragraphs, links, images, and forms. These elements are organized using tags,
such as <h1> for headers or <p> for paragraphs, allowing browsers to display the content correctly.
CSS : CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets and it describes how HTML elements are to be
displayed on the screen. If you browse enough tutorials, you’ll soon create CSS text effects, page
transitions, image hover effects, and more.
JavaScript : JavaScript is a versatile programming language that is commonly used in web
development to add interactivity and dynamic behavior to web pages.
PHP : PHP is a server-side scripting language that is embedded in HTML. It is used to manage
dynamic content, databases, session tracking, and even build entire e-commerce sites. It’s also used
by Facebook, Wikipedia, and other major sites.

MySQL: MySQL is an open-source relational database management system (RDBMS) widely
used for storing and managing data. It uses Structured Query Language (SQL) to interact with
data and supports operations like querying, updating, and managing relational data in tables.
MySQL is known for its performance, reliability, and ease of use, which has made it the database
of choice for many web applications. It supports features like data replication, partitioning, and
indexing, which make it a powerful tool for handling large-scale applications.
PostgreSQL: PostgreSQL is another open-source RDBMS known for its extensibility, performance,
and SQL compliance. It supports advanced features such as complex queries, foreign keys,
transactions, and multi-version concurrency control (MVCC). Unlike MySQL, PostgreSQL is fully
ACID-compliant, which makes it suitable for handling highly transactional and mission-critical
applications. PostgreSQL also has strong support for JSON data types, full-text search, and
geospatial data, making it a great choice for applications that require advanced data types or need to
handle large datasets.
REST API: A REST (Representational State Transfer) API is a set of guidelines for building web
services that allow communication between different systems over HTTP. RESTful APIs operate
based on stateless communication, meaning that each request from a client to a server must contain
all the necessary information to understand and process the request. REST APIs are designed to be
lightweight, making them ideal for use in web applications and mobile apps. They use standard
HTTP methods such as GET, POST, PUT, and DELETE to perform CRUD operations (Create,
Read, Update, Delete) on resources. REST APIs are widely used in modern web and mobile
development

4.3 INTRODUCTION OF PROJECTS :
JOB-PORTAL
The Job Portal Project is a comprehensive web application that was created
with the aim to provide smooth communication between employers and job
seekers. The system helps to automate and simplify the manual hiring process
through the use of a dynamic jobs posting interface, application for available
opportunities, and communication between parties.
4.4 MOTIVATION AND RELATIONAL STUDY :
Python has rapidly become one of the most popular and versatile programming languages in the
world, known for its simplicity, readability, and broad applicability across various domains.
Whether you're building web applications, automating tasks, analyzing data, or diving into machine
learning and artificial intelligence, Python serves as a powerful tool that caters to beginners and
experienced developers alike.
One of Python’s strongest advantages is its clean and readable syntax, which emphasizes code clarity
and reduces development time. This makes Python an ideal language for teaching, rapid prototyping,
and writing production-ready software. Python supports multiple programming paradigms—
including object-oriented, procedural, and functional programming—allowing developers to choose
the style that best fits their project needs.
Python’s thriving ecosystem includes an extensive range of libraries and frameworks that accelerate
development across different fields. For web development, frameworks like Django and Flask
provide powerful tools to build scalable, secure, and maintainable web applications with ease. In the
realm of data science and machine learning, libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Scikit-
learn, and TensorFlow have become industry standards.

4.5 METHODOLOGY DETAILS :
Agile Methodology :
Agile is a flexible and iterative
methodology used in web development
projects where requirements are
uncertain or change frequently. Instead of
pre-planning the entire project, Agile
focuses on delivering work in short, time-
boxed iterations called sprints. Teams
adapt as they go, responding quickly to changes in scope or feedback.
Scrum, a popular Agile framework, includes regular meetings like daily stand-ups, sprint planning,
sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure continuous collaboration and improvement. This
approach promotes faster delivery, better quality, and the ability to pivot based on user or market
needs, making it ideal for complex and dynamic web applications.

LEARNING OUTCOMES
Internships are generally thought of to be reserved for college students looking to gain experience
in a particular field. However, a wide array of people can benefit from Training Internships in order
to receive real-world experience and develop their skills.
An objective for this position should emphasize the skills you already possess in the area and your
interest in learning more.
Internships are utilized in a number of different career fields, including architecture, engineering,
healthcare, economics, advertising, and many more.
Some internships are used to allow individuals to perform scientific research while others are
specifically designed to allow people to gain first-hand experience working.
In this internship we have studied various languages and tools for making the project. Html, CSS
are used for the frontend development along with the bootstrap. For the backend development, we
use MySQL ,PostgreSql, Supabase for the database for the backend tasks of the project.

CONCLUSION
In conclusion, my journey through this web development internship has been nothing short of
transformative. Mastering Python , Database has not only fortified my technical abilities but has
also empowered me to craft immersive and responsive applications that engage users on multiple
levels.
One of the most rewarding aspects of this internship has been the opportunity to engage in
collaborative development. Working alongside talented individuals, I've gained invaluable insights
into effective teamwork, communication, and project management. These experiences have not
only enhanced my interpersonal skills but have also underscore.
