Online applications are invited with effect from 01.12.2020(from 4:00 pM) to
08.L2.202o( up to 4:00 PM) from lndian Nationals having permanent residence in Tripura
for
selection of candidates for recruitment to the post of "Graduate Teacher (For Class lX-X),,
through "selection Test for Graduate Teacher(STGT) - 2OZO' under Secondary Education
Directorate, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura. All posts are permanent
and period of probation is 2-years. vacancy position is as follows:

L. Essential Minimum eualification:

(a) Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized University with at least 50%
marks in either
Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
from National council for Teacher Education recognised institution.
OR
(b) Graduate/Post Graduate from recognized University with at least45%marks in either
. Graduation or Post Graduation (or its equivalent) and Bachelor of Education (B;Ed)
from National Council for Teacher Education recognised institution in accordance
{
with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition,
the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for
recognition of teacher education programmes and permission to start new course
or
training ) Regulations,2OO2 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for Teacher
Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, ZOOT notified on
10.12.20071.
OR
(c) 4-Years degree of 'B.A.Ed / B.Sc.Ed from National Council for Teacher
Education
recognised institution.
NB:' Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks will be allowed to the candidates
belonging to SC/ST /pH category.

 2. Age : Up to 40 years as on 27.L1.2020. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for
SC/ST/PH and Government Servant provided that government employees belonging
to
SC/ST/PH category will not get relaxation over and above general relaxation
of 5 years
available to them. Upper age limit is also relaxable for Ex-serviceman (ESM) as per
norm5.
NB: (i) 1(one) year age relaxation will be allowed due to CoVtD-19 for all category
candidate
as per memo of GA(p&T) dated 15.07.2020.
(ii)
Permissible age relaxation will be applicable for candidates from discharged ad-hoc
10,323 teachers as per memo of GA(P&T) dated 05.11 .2020. (Candidates belonjing
to this
category must click yes in the relevant point of online application to get the benefit)
3. Pay: Rs. 20,475/-(revised) fixed per month being 75 % of basic pay (Level-9) of Tripura
State Pay Matrix, 20L8.
4. Equivalencv of a Degree: Equivalency of a Degree (if any) will be ascertained by
Equivalence Committee formed by Education (School) Department. Decision of
Equivalence Committee will be final in this regard. Candidates claiming equivalency of
degree will be allowed provisionally to appear at the "selection Test for Graduate
Teacher(STGTI-202O'. Such candidate must apply to the Board within 15th January 202L
along with self attested photocopy of the Mark sheet of the degree for which the
candidate is claiming equivatency. Application thus received will be forwarded to the
Equivalence Committee for decision and decision of equivalent committee will be final.
If a candidate applied for STGT and secures a mark enough to be recommended
for recruitment, but the Equivatence Committee has given decision that she/he does
not have ah equivalent degree required for the post for which he/she applied, his/ her
candidature will be rejected without further notification and his her name wiil not be
/
recommended for to the concerned department for recruitment.

While applying online the candidate must ensure that she/he understands and fulfils
the
norms of eligibility. Before applying online please ensure to have the following for
uploading:

.ip Scanned image of latest passport size photograph of candidate (ln JpG[pEG format
onty,
.Size: up to 100 KB).
.P Scanned image of full signature of candidate (ln JPGIpEG format only, Size: up to 60 KB).
Notes:
(a) lt must be ensured that image of the photograph and full signature of the candidate
for
uploading must be clear or else your candidature will be summarily cancelled without
further notification.
(b) Admit Card will not be generated if any irrelevancy is noticed in image of the photograph
and full signature of the candidate.
(c) Uploading of any irrelevant photograph/signature will invite cancellation of candidature
and appropriate action.
(d) Online Application can be submitted by logging on to the official website of Teachers,
Recruitment Board, Tripura, www..trl:.tripura.goy.in and by no other means.
(e) Since provision of pre-test scrutiny of mark-sheets/certificates/documents is not there,
a
candidate needs to satisfy herself/himselflhat every input in the online application is
correct as per criteria and terms and conditions of the test.
Follow the steps given betow:

(a) Log on to TRBT's official website

Wwu,r.t[b.tripura.qov.in and click on ,Apply Online, link.
You will be directed to the registration page.
(b) Candidates are to enter the required information such as
name, DOB, email lD, phone
Number etc., and get themselves registered. Note down the Registration
Number for
future reference.
(c) For registration, e-mail lD must be unique. once registered, login
with Registration
Number/E-mail lD and password as set by you. For security reason do not
share the
password with others.
(d) lf a candidate has registered during T-TET 20L9 fresh registration
will not be required.
Login with USER lD and Password. However, if there anywrong entry,
fresh registration
can be done by using another e-mail lD of the applicant.
(e) After login update your profile by entering all relevant information
as per the online
application form correctly.
(f) Upload clear image of your recent passport size photograph (as enumerated in ,How to
apply' section in the registration page) and full signature. The image of photograph
must
be clear enough so that the applicant can be recognised by seeing the photograph.
The
image of full signature must also be clear and legible. Any discrepancy in image
of
photograph and full signature will lead to rejection of the online application.
Uploading
of any unwanted photograph will be viewed seriously and strict action will be taken
against them who indulge in such activity.
(g) candidate ian update certain information given in the profile from
edit/update profile
link before submission of online application. Online application once submitted
the link
will be disabled. No edit in profile can be done afterwards.
(h) Candidate can apply for "selection Test for Graduate Teacher (for
Ctass lX-X) - 2020,
from 'Apply Online' link of candidate,s homepage.
(i) ln candidate's homepage, for Graduate Teacher (class Xl-Xll) please click on,,Apply Online,,
link with respect to "selection Test for Graduate Teacher (for Class lx-x) -2020".
Select
eligibility criteria from drop down Iist. All particulars regarding academic and
. professional qualifications must be entered correctly.
(j) Candidates can choose any of the options out of (1) Social Science, (2) Biological Science
(3) Pure Science from the dropdown box. Option once chosen
cannot be changed.
(k) Submit the form after entering all the information correctly. Finalize the
application if all
information is entered correctly. lf any rectification is required click on "Edit Application,,
link in candidate's homepage. once finalised the application form can no more be
edited. So before finalization make sure that all information entered are correct.
(l) Make payment from the link provided in the home page of applicant. payment can be
done through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ lnternet Banking facility of any leading bank.
lnformationlPlN/Password etc., of Credit Card/ Debit Card/ lnternet Banking must not
' be shared with others for making payment and TRBT will not be responsible for any
fraudulent transaction due to such information sharing.
(m) Payment of fee must be paid through the link provided in applicant's home page and by
no other means.

 (n) After successful payment print the Acknowledgement page
and preserve it for future
reference.
(o) Please take a printout of payment slip available after making payment
for future
reference. Without payment slip no payment related query/ complaint
will be
entertained.
(p) Candidates having their mark in CGPA, click on "check if CGPA
is applicable,, and enter
exact equivalent percent of CGPA. Convert CGPA in exact equivalent percentage (as
per
formula given by the University/ Board) up to two decimal points and enter
it in the
appropriate box in the online application form. For example if the equivalent percentage
of CGPA up to 2 decimal point is "59.gg,,enter,,59.99,, not,,60,,.
(q) ln case candidates are applying with Graduation as academic qualification
and do not
possess Post Graduation, please leave the qualification
detail in the online application
format with respect to post Graduation.
(r) Please read the "How to apply" Section in the registration page before proceeding for
registration.
(s) "Forgot Password" link can be used to reset password in case the candidate
forgets
her/his password.

Candidates are instructed to note the subject and category-wise vacant posts and to
apply online accordingly. lf a particular category of candidate applies where there is no vacant
post for that category, herf his candidature will be cancelled at any stage without
further
notification and fee so deposited will not be refunded.

' 7. No obiection Certificate: Those who are employed must submit "No Objection
Certificate" (NoC), issued by the competent Authority of the Department/ Agency where
he/she
is currently employed, at the time of certificate verification. lt will be presumed
that all such
candidates who apply for the post has obtained NoC from the competent authority
stating that
the Department/Agency has no objection if he /she joins the post applied for.

 Further, those who get employed after submission of online application must also
submit NoC issued by competent authority. candidature of a candidate will be rejected if
he/she fails to produce NoC. Those who are un-able to submit NoC will be summarily
rejected
from the selection process.

8.Selection Method: The selection will be done on the basis of Mark obtained in
"Selection Test for Graduate Teachers
-2020" subject to scrutiny of certificates/documents/
Mark Sheets and correctness of information given by the candidates in the online application
form. Minimum 50% marks (75 out of 150) is to be obtained in the test with 5% relaxation (6g
out of 150)for SC/ST/PH candidates. Depending upon number of vacant post, candidates will
be
recommended for recruitment as per merit. Thus all candidates obtained minimum mark (75
or
68, as applicable) or more may not be recommended for recruitment as recommendation
depends on vacancy. Securing minimum mark (75 or 68, as applicable) or more does not
confer
any right to any candidate for recruitment.

Common merit list will be prepared taking together all three subjects viz. (1) Social
Science, (2) Biological Science (3) Pure Science. No separate subject-wise merit list will
be there.
Recommendation will be done from combined merit list. Candidates will be responsible for
correctness of all particulars as furnished in the online application form. ln case of any
subsequent detection of false or defective information or suppression of facts, even after
selection / appointment, his/ her candidature will be summarily rejected without further
notification. Candidature of Candidates, who submit online application, disregarding the
eligibility/minimum educational qualification/other criteria/ terms and conditions etc. as laid
down in this notification and in the "Prospectus cum lnstructions: Selection Test for Graduate
Teacher (STGT)-2020", will be rejected at any stage of the selection process without further
notification' Candidates must fulfil all eligibility criteria / terms and conditions of this
notification and "Prospectus cum lnstructions: Selection Test for Graduate Teacher (STGI)-
2020" . Candidates will be invited for certificate verification depending on the
number of post as
requisitioned by the concerned department.

When two or more candidates obtain same marks, relative position would be judged in
terms of seniority of date of birth of the candidates. ln case date of birth is same then
seniority
of the date of obtaining requisite academic qualification for appearing in the said examination
wouid be judged. Senior candidate will be given preference. ln final case, if required; the
percentage of marks in the qualifying examination (academlc) wil{ be taken
into consideration
and preference will be given whose percentage of marks is higher.

9. Scrutinv of Documents: Number of Candidates invited for scrutiny of documents will

be more than the actual number of posts requisitioned by concerned department. lnvitation
for
scrutiny of documents will be done from amongst the candidate who obtains at least minimum
mark which is 50% (75 out of 150) for unreserved category candidate and 45% (G8 out of L50) for
SC/ST/PH category candidates. Candidates who remain absent on the scheduled date
of scrutiny
of documents, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected without further notification.
Candidates must have Permanent Resident of Tripura Certificate (pRTc). So, all candidates
invited for certificate verifiqation may not be recommended for recruitment as the
recommendation will be based on the actual number of vacant posts. Mark obtained in
the test
will be the only criteria for preparation of merit list. No candidate will be recommended for
recruitment who obtains below cut off mark. Secming minimum mark (75 or 6g as applicable)
or more marks and inviting a candidate for scrutiny of documents will not entitle him/her any
right for selection to the post for recruitment. At the time of scrutiny of documents a candidate

 must bring original copies of all mark sheets of academic and professional qualification,
certificates (if any) of academic and professional qualification, pRTC, Admit
card of matriculation
as proof of age, Caste certificate (if any), PH certificate (if any), Certificate
of Ex-Serviceman (if
any) and "Application Acknowledgement" of online application, Admit
card of STpGT along with
two sets of self attested photocopies of all these documents. candidates
are required to produce
one photo bearing identity card in original like, AADHAAR Card pAN
/ Card /passport / Driving
License/ Bank Pass Book / EPIC (Voter lD Card) at the time of certificate
verification.
10. Examination Fee: t300/- for Unreserved Category and <2OOl- for SC/ST/pH
category. Banker's Service charge may apply. Fee once paid will not
be refunded. Fee must be
paid system generated challan within the scheduled date.
Candidature of a candidate will be
rejected without further notification if TRBT does not receive the fee for
whatsoever reason.
Application will not be accepted if the fee is deposited after the scheduled
date as mentioned in
this notification.

11. Phvsicallv Handicapped (PH) Candidates: Candidates having disability such as Blind
or
Low Vision (Partially Blind), Partially Deaf and Locomotors Disability (ortho)
can only apply under
PH category. The percentage of disability must be 40% or above.

IMPORTANT:

Candidates to ensure their eligibility for the posts. Candidates applying for post
a should
ensure that they fulfil all eligibility conditions for selection to the post. Selection
is subject to
verification of certificates and correctness of information given by the candidates
in the online
application form. Candidates will be responsible for correctness of all particulars
as furnished in
the online application form. Their admission to all the stages of the selection process
will be
purely provisional, subject to satisfying the prescribed eligibility conditions.
Mere issue of
Application Acknowledgement or Admit Card to a candidate will not imply
that his/ her
candidature has been finally cleared by the Board. Similarly getting invitation
for certificate
verification will not entitle a candidate any right for selection to the post for
recruitment. ln case
of any subsequent detection of false or defective information or suppression of
facts, even after
selection / appointment, his/ her candidature will be summarily rejected
at any stage of the
selection process without further notification. Candidature of Candidates, who
submit online
application, disregarding the eligibility/minimum educational qualification/other
criteria/terms
and conditions etc. as laid down in this notification and "Prospectus cum
lnstruction: Selection
Test'for Graduate Teacher (STGT)-2020", will be rejected at any stage of
the selection process
without further notification' Candidates must fulfil all eligibility criteria
/terms and conditions of
this notification and prospectus cum instructions.

TRBT's functions are limited up to

selection of candidates for a particular post and
recommend it to the concerned department. The recruitment will be done
by the requisitioning
department and TRBT shall not be held responsible for recruitment. Genuinity authenticity
/ of all
documents will be checked by the recruiting department after recommendation
by TRBT. The
recruiting department has the right to deny offer of appointment or to terminate
a candidate after
recruitment if any of the documents submitted by candidate is found to be not genuine
or forged or
fake. The recruiting department may take appropriate legal action against
such candidates.

Candidates must be in possession of minimum required qualification and

mark sheet(s)/
certificate of the academic and professional qualification as on the last date
of submission of
application as mentioned in this notice. Scheduled Caste(SC) and Scheduled Tribe(ST)
Certificate
issued by competent authority of Tripura wiil only be vatid. r

 All graduate and post graduate degrees must be from UGc recognised
Universities/lnstitutions. The candidates must note that the Teachers'Training
Degree obtained
by them is from the lnstitution recognised by National Council of Teacher
Education (NCTE).
However, if any dispute is noticed/reported at any stage regarding
the recognition status of
the institution from where the candidate obtained the Teachers' Training
Degree or if it is
found that a candidate does not fulfil any of the eligibility and recruited
on the basis of
false/forged/fake certificate/qualification/wilful error, the Board will recommend the
concerned authority to take appropriate action against such candidate.
TRBT reserves the right
to change any of the terms and conditions of this notification and prospectus
cum Instructions.
The syllabus of the test is available with the website of TRBT.

Assessment and Evaluation of the answer scripts (oMR sheets) done

by the Board shail
be final and shall not be open to scrutiny by any external person/authority.
