Steps to Find a Location on Google Maps.

Using a Desktop Browser

Step 1: Go to [Google Maps] (https://maps.google.com) in your web browser.

Step 2: In the search bar (top left), type the name or address of the location and press
Enter.
Step 3: The map will centre on the location. Click the location marker or a specific
spot on the map.

Step 4: A left side panel will appear. Click the Share button ( ) in the panel.
Step 5: In the popup window, select Copy link to save the URL to your clipboard.

Step 6: Paste the link [CTRL+V] (e.g., https://goo.gl/maps/xyz123) anywhere to share

Using the Mobile App (Android/iOS)

Step 1: Open the Google Maps app.

Step 2: Tap the search bar (top), enter the location name/address, and tap Search.
Step 3: For precise spots, long press the map to drop a red pin.

Step 4: Swipe up the location’s info card and tap Share.


Step 5: Choose Copy to Clipboard (or select an app to share directly).

Step 6: Paste the link (e.g., `https://maps.app.goo.gl/abc456`) in messages, emails,


etc.
