ABSTRACT
The Coupon Website is a web-based platform designed to offer users a digital interface for
browsing, managing, and utilizing discount coupons across a variety of categories such as
food, fashion, technology, and more. The primary aim of the project is to replicate the digital
coupon system used by apps like PhonePe and GPay while offering a simplified and visually
appealing interface for both buyers and sellers.
The platform includes modules for user registration, login, browsing coupons, adding coupons
for sale, viewing user profiles, managing payments, and interacting with a dashboard. It is
designed using core front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a
modular codebase for easy future integration with a backend system.
This project focuses on providing a modern, responsive, and intuitive user experience.
Features such as category browsing, admin control, and a wallet section support the overall
goal of creating a robust and scalable e-commerce-like system dedicated to coupons.

INTRODUCTION
In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, the use of online discounts and promotional
codes has become increasingly popular. The Coupon Website project is developed to provide
a centralized online marketplace for users to buy, sell, and manage coupons across multiple
categories such as food, fashion, electronics, and more. It eliminates the dependency on
informal sharing or unreliable platforms by offering a secure, interactive, and user-friendly
environment.
The platform is built using core front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript,
ensuring responsiveness and compatibility across devices. The site is modularly designed to
support future enhancements, including the integration of back-end technologies such as
Flask or Django for dynamic data handling.
Users can create accounts, upload their own coupons for sale, and browse deals posted by
others. Key functionalities include coupon expiration tracking, price filtering, user
dashboards, and a wallet module to manage payment history and withdrawals. An admin
panel is also provided for content moderation and user oversight.
Overall, the Coupon Website aims to streamline the digital couponing experience for buyers
and sellers alike, with a focus on scalability, simplicity, and efficiency.

HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
A Software Requirements Specification (SRS) is a comprehensive document that outlines and
defines all the functional and non-functional requirements of a software system to be developed.
It serves as a formal agreement between the development team and the client (or stakeholders),
providing a shared understanding of the project’s scope, features, and constraints.
The SRS plays a vital role in the software development life cycle (SDLC). It acts as a blueprint
for the development process and ensures that all team members—designers, developers, testers,
and project managers—are aligned with the client's expectations.
Software Requirements:
Front-End Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
Back-End Technologies: Java
Database Technologies: MySQL, PHP
Operating System: Windows 10 or above / macOS / Linux (for development)
Hardware Requirements:
Processor: Intel Core i3 or equivalent (dual-core minimum)
RAM: 8 GB RAM
Storage: 500 GB HDD or 256 GB SSD
Internet: Stable connection for Firebase and testing
