Empathy Technologies - Full Stack Developer Assessment

We sincerely appreciate your interest in the Full Stack Developer position at Empathy
Technologies and the time you've invested in applying.
Assessment Objective:
Design and develop a web application using PHP or the MERN Stack that integrates with the
Instagram API Login to fetch and display user information.
Each step has an assigned score. Your project will be assessed based on the points you achieve.
You will need at least 70 points to pass this test.

Assessment Flow:

1️. Create a webpage with a "Login with Instagram" button.


2️. Upon successful login, fetch and display all available profile details using the Instagram API.
3️. Show a list of media (user feed) and implement a comment reply feature.

Scoring & Instructions:

Step 1: Create a Facebook App (5 points)


1. Visit Facebook Developer Apps and create a new app.
2. Select: "Others" → "Next" → "Business" → Create App.
3. Add the Instagram Product in your app setup.
Step 2: Enable Instagram Login (5 points)
1. Open: https://developers.facebook.com/apps/<app_id>/dashboard/ (Replace <app_id>
with your actual App ID).
2. Set up Instagram Login using the Instagram API for Business Accounts.
3. Copy App Keys, configure the redirect URLs, and complete the setup.
4. No app review is needed for development mode.
Step 3: Build the Project (90 points)
1. Design (20 points): Smart, modern, and user-friendly UI/UX.
2. Auth (20 points): Implement Instagram Login via API authentication.
3. User Profile (10 points): Display profile name, picture, and details.
4. User Feed (20 points): Fetch and show Instagram posts, reels, and media.
5. Comment Reply Feature (20 points): Allow users to reply to comments on posts.
