14.1.3 Determination
of HardDiskGapacity/ VacantMemory
With the SCO UNIX computers,it is possibleto determinethe divisionand the vacant
capacityof the hard disk usingthe serviceconsole(firstconnectif applicable).
In the ES, the hard disk capacityand the loadingcan be determinedin an X-terminal(new
window)usingthe command) bdf.

There are also relationshipsbetweenplantdisplayswhich are basedon the one hand on
configureddisplayselectionkeys and on the other hand on the configureddisplayhierarchy.
Such relationships, or similarones, exist betweenthe individualpartsof the backupcopy. lf
partsof the backupcopy are then combinedtogetheralthoughthey do not belongtogether
as far as the project state is concerned(differentversions, see Section4), faulty data sets
could resultwhich are difficUltor even impossibleto porrect.

For this reason it is essential to always generate all parts of a
backup copy from the same project state, and to administer and
archive these together.
lf the capacity of the DAT tape doesn't allow to store all data together on one cartridge and
three cartridges have to be used, it is strongly recommended to pack these three cartridges
(e.9. using a tape).
