Q: Tell me about yourself.

A: My name is James B. Pelobillo from North Cotabato, Philippines. I’m a graduate of


Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering from the University of
Southern Mindanao. I have experience in field work, training programs, and technical tasks
such as handling agricultural machinery, data collection, and equipment operation. I am
physically fit, hardworking, and adaptable, and I’m looking forward to applying my
technical skills and discipline in a factory work environment.

Q: Why do you want to work in Taiwan?

A: I want to work in Taiwan because it is known for its strong electronics and
manufacturing industries. The country also offers a clean, safe, and disciplined working
environment. I admire the work culture in Taiwan and see it as a good place for professional
growth and skill development. It’s also a good opportunity for me to support my family
financially while gaining new experience abroad.

Q: Why did you choose this job?

A: I chose this job because I want to apply my skills in handling equipment, doing precise
tasks, and working in a structured environment. I’m confident that I can perform well in
manufacturing tasks such as welding, repair, and assembly, and I’m eager to gain new
knowledge in the electronics industry. I enjoy hands-on work and following detailed
procedures, which this kind of job requires.

Q: Are you able to work on shifting schedules (day/night)?

A: Yes, I am fully willing and able to work on a shifting schedule, including both day and
night shifts. I understand that factory operations require flexibility, and I am prepared to
adjust and perform effectively under any schedule.

Q: What do you want to learn about Taiwan?

A: I want to learn more about Taiwanese work ethics, language and culture, and how
electronics manufacturing works in an international setting. I’m also interested in learning
new skills that I can bring back home in the future or use for long-term career development.

Q: What qualifications do you have to fit this job?

A: I have a degree in engineering, which trained me in technical thinking and practical work.
I completed an internship at the Agricultural Training Institute, where I assisted in field
operations and technical demonstrations. I am skilled in operating machinery, following
instructions, and completing physical tasks. I’m also quick to learn, disciplined, and reliable
in team settings. I am proficient in using tools and equipment, and can handle repetitive and
detail-oriented work with precision.

Q: Do you have any experience in electronics or mechanical work?

A: Yes, during my engineering studies, I handled tools and equipment for mechanical
operations, and I’m confident I can apply these skills in electronics assembly, repair, and
quality control with proper training.

Q: Are you comfortable standing for long hours or doing repetitive work?

A: Yes, I am used to physical tasks and long working hours during fieldwork and training. I
can maintain focus and discipline even during repetitive work.

Q: Can you follow safety procedures and company rules?

A: Absolutely. I understand the importance of safety protocols and following company


guidelines, especially in a manufacturing environment where discipline and safety are
priorities.
