UI Customization
Modify the User Interface for the Bank application created in Assignment - 1. All points below should
match with the UI for the assignment to be considered as correct.
1. For Bank Object:
a. The bank should be able to identify by its Bank Name, Bank ID, Type of Bank
(International, State Co-Operative, Regional Rural, and Urban Co-Operative), and sector
(public or private) Field values while relating Branch to Bank Record.
b. Banks should be able to search through Bank Name and Bank ID field values.
c. When searching for Banks the results should contain Bank Name, Bank ID, and Type of
Bank (International, State Co-Operative, Regional Rural, and Urban Co-Operative) field
values.
d. We want a new List view named “International and State Co-Operative Banks” in which
we will be able to see the Bank Name, Bank ID, Total Number of Branches, and the Type
of Bank field values.
e. When opening the record the fields should be arranged in two columns and also in
sections wherever required.
2. For Branch object
a. The branch should be able to search by its Branch ID, Branch Name, and Contact.
b. When opening the record the fields should be arranged in two columns and also in
sections wherever required.
c. The branch should display Branch ID, Branch Name, Total Accounts, Contact, City, and
State when all the records are visible.
d. While creating an account record when a user searches for the branch, they should see
the details like Branch ID, Bank, Branch Name, Total Accounts, Contact, and State.
3. For Accounts: (Using UI Customization only)
a. Account types can be Current, Savings, Saving Minor, and Company.
b. There should be a way so that only the Manager can create a company account.
c. Employees should not be able to see the average withdrawal and average deposit of
transactions.
d. Starting Balance, Daily limit, and Type of Account should be required fields for
Employees but for Managers, only account type should be required.
e. When opening the record the fields should be arranged in two columns and also in
sections wherever required.
f. Users should be able to view Account records in different views such as Savings
Account Records, Current Account Records, Saving Minor Account Records, and
Company Account Records.
4. For loans, loan detail, and transaction objects the layout should be good.
5. Transactions should be able to be created from the account page in Salesforce.
6. Key fields of every object must appear when the user hovers over the record.
7. Using App Builder
a. The account record page should have a UI similar to the given Student Record page.
b. Create a picklist field(having values “Application Submission”, “Review &
Verification”, “Approval”, “Closing”, “Servicing”, and “Payoff”) on the loan detail to
show a pipeline on Loan Detail Record Page similar to given below image.
Hint: Use Path Component in App Builder and then set up Path.
