Show Past Event in Seperate page

so create a new page entirely named past events from admin Dashboard

Give it a title of past events

Content View to be left Blank


Click Publish
Click Preview

as we know the template file in the theme folder


that Powering the Screen is page.php
nowever of we need to write Custom Code and
if we need to pull the last event post

for that we need to have a unique special Template file for this past Event URL

so create a new file amd the name of the file is very important
page and then name of the slug of the page that we just created

slug you will edit screen check at the permalink at the end old parts

is the slug of that page


page-past-events.php

and then just type for a test text


you will see that this template file is controlling this page

now copy all the content from archive Event.php to thhis file

made some changes Geading and Title
