Script for speech on Conservation of Water Resources
Good morning everyone! I am Prashant of 10th standard.
Today, I want to talk to you about something very important—water! Water is something we all need
every day to stay healthy and to live. But did you know that water is also something we need to take
care of? It's true! We need to conserve water, which means using it wisely so that we don't waste it.

Here are some easy ways we can all help conserve water:
First, when we brush our teeth or wash our hands, we should turn off the tap when we're not using the
water. This way, we don't let water go down the drain when we don't need it.
Second, we can take shorter showers. While it's fun to play in the water, taking shorter showers uses
less water. Maybe we can challenge ourselves to take showers that are just a little bit shorter each time!
Third, if you see a leaky faucet or a running toilet at home, tell your parents. A leak wastes a lot of
water over time, so fixing it helps save water and money too!
Fourth, when we're playing outside, we should use water wisely. Instead of leaving the hose running,
we can fill up buckets to water plants or use a watering can. That way, we only use the water we need.
Finally, we can learn more about water conservation and share what we know with our friends and
family. When we all work together to use water wisely, we can help make sure there's enough water
for everyone, now and in the future.
So, let's remember to be water heroes and conserve water every day! Thank you!
