Chapter - More Tools in Animate CC

Application based questions:-

1) Austin wants to create a movie using Text shape Tweening option. Suggest him the steps for
the same

Ans) Steps for Text Shape Tweening:

1.​ Type text using the Text Tool.​

2.​ Select the text and press Ctrl + B twice to turn it into a shape.​

3.​ Go to another frame (like frame 30), right-click and choose Insert Keyframe.​

4.​ Change the shape of the text in the new frame.​

5.​ Right-click between the two frames and select Create Shape Tween.​

6.​ Press Enter to play the animation

2. Create a document in Animate CC and write " Adobe Animate ". Create a motion tween to
move the text from one corner to other on the stage.

Ans).Steps to create motion tween for text:

1.​ Open Animate CC and create a new file.​

2.​ Use the Text Tool to type "Adobe Animate" on the stage.​

3.​ Select the text, right-click, and choose Convert to Symbol → name it and click OK.​

4.​ Go to another frame (like frame 30), right-click and choose Insert Keyframe.​

5.​ Move the text to the other corner of the stage.​

6.​ Right-click between the two frames and choose Create Motion Tween.​

7.​ Press Enter to play the animation.


3) Create a document in Animate CC. Create an animation to change the text “ Learning is Fun”
in frame 1 to “with Animate CC” in Frame 40.
Ans) Steps to change text using shape tween:

1.​ Open Animate CC and create a new file.​

2.​ Use the Text Tool to type "Learning is Fun" in frame 1.​

3.​ Select the text and press Ctrl + B twice to turn it into a shape.​

4.​ Go to frame 40, right-click and choose Insert Keyframe.​

5.​ In frame 40, delete the old text and type "with Animate CC".​

6.​ Press Ctrl + B twice again to make it a shape.​

7.​ Right-click between frame 1 and 40 and choose Create Shape Tween.​

8.​ Press Enter to play the animation

Answer the following questions:-

1)​ Write the keyboard shortcut to break apart the grouped objects.

Ans) The keyboard shortcut to break apart grouped objects is:

●​ Select the grouped object.​

●​ Press Ctrl + B ( on Windows )​

This will ungroup or break apart the object so you can edit individual parts.

2)​ How can you change the transparency and colour of an object?

Ans) To change the colour:

1.​ Select the object on the stage.​

2.​ Go to the Properties panel on the right.​

3.​ Under "Fill Color", click the color box.​

4.​ Choose a new color from the color picker.​


🔵 To change the transparency (alpha):
1.​ Select the object.​

2.​ In the Properties panel, look for "Color Effect".​

3.​ Change the effect to "Alpha".​

4.​ Use the slider or type a number to adjust transparency (0 = fully transparent, 100 = fully
visible).
