Turf & History

The East Side Skyline Piru, also known as the Rollin 80’s Piru’s, originally formed
in Skyline neighborhood (Meadow 68th 69th Street) in 1979. Throughout the years
they dominated The Skyline, being labeled as the biggest blood gang by the San
Diego Police Department. During the early 2000’s, Skyline Piru’s dominate the
Skyline neighborhood of San Diego, which include the Skyline Hills, Jamacha,
Bay Terrace, Encanto, Alta Vista, and the Lomita Village neighborhood.
The Skyline Piru’s consist of two cliques listed as the Rollin 80's (81st Park
Boys) and the Bottom Boyz (Meadow 68th 69th street).

B.G. would do what he or she was told and that a Y.G. would have a small amount of
status over a B.G. but still would have to answer to the O.G., who was the boss.
She said an O.G. gave orders to lower ranking members and usually did not
participate in carrying out criminal activity. If a gang member did not follow an
O.G.'s orders, the member could be disciplined with punishment ranging from
physical assault to death.
