02- List of Content Learn
Build Good Network :
During my internship. I learned how to communicate and build relationships
with the people I worked with. I learned how to introduce myself, talk about any
interests, knowledge and skills with entrepreneurs and business owners, as well
as how to ask questions and gain a better understanding of businesses not only
in the co-working space, but also in the market. This process overall helped me
develop my professional network and emphasized the importance of creating
these connections. I also connected with the most of them via LinkedIn, which
is obviously a great networking platform for professionals.
Understanding Workspace Culture :
Culture influences communication, and as an international student, I learned that
every company or organization has its own culture. It's essential to observe others
and learn how they engage and interact with co-workers, or help them with
projects and tasks. I quickly learned that whenever something is unclear for
me, or I don't understand, it's fine to ask for clarification.
Keeping a journal is great for personal growth :
During my internship, I had a journal and took note every day about new things I
learned, I was given by my manager, strengths and weaknesses I noticed, and
things I wanted to research and learn more about. This helped me understand
myself more and identify the areas that I needed to improve in.
How important good communication is :
Communication is the key to success in a professional environment. I learned
that it's important to communicate with my manager via phone, email or SMS
if I have questions or if I don't know how to work on task. Asking for help and
clarification is better than pretending you've understood what you need to do, no
matter what. However, I also found that if you can Google something, then do.
Avoiding asking questions if you can find answers elsewhere is part of being a
good communicator - keep in mind that everyone's time is valuable. As an
intern, good communication will help with productivity, efficiency, engagement,
and growth.
The benefits of taking on feedback :
Asking for and receiving professional feedback is very important. It is essential
to take note of both the positive and negative points for the future, so you can
grow and excel in your career.

When you view data and statistics, you're often seeking to gain

12 - List of the skills required to perform the assigned task
Effective prioritization.
Workload management.
Excellent attention to detail
Effective delegation
Advanced critical thinking
Effective communication
1. Identify your personal values
The more committed you are to your own personal values , the easier it
is to avoid opportunities that may compromise those values. If you find
yourself working for a company that isn't aligned with your personal
values, there's a chance such an experience can lead to a reduction in
passion and commitment. Consider writing down your values and
asking yourself which are flexible and which ones you won't
compromise on.
When you apply for a new position, you can compare your list of
personal values to those of the company you're applying to. You can
also ask about the company's values and vision in the interview to get a
better idea of the company culture.
2. Develop self-respect and passion
Self-respect is an important component of commitment and passion. If
you respect yourself, what you do and what you stand for, you'll likely
feel more passionate about your work. Since confidence shows in your
work and your overall attitude, it's a trait that can cause others to take
notice.
Self-respect can be made up of a few key factors, including:
Honesty and integrity
Passion for goals and values
Respect for others
Self-awareness
Self-respect is often a key component in increasing your passion for
work, which can also increase your overall commitment. It can feel
great when you're creating projects that excite your creativity and
advance your career.
3. Try to reframe failure as a motivator
Failure is often a contributing factor in reducing your commitment and
passion for work. Though a failure or setback can feel detrimental to
your efforts, when you change how you view these experiences, they
can become a motivator rather than an inhibitor. Failure is something
that most professionals experience eventually, but it doesn't have to be
the end of projects or passion.
Experiencing a failure can be a great opportunity to look closer at your
methods and goals. Identify what went wrong in the process and what
can be fixed next time. You can also evaluate how the setback has
affected the project in the short and long-term and how you can turn it
around. Lastly, you can look inward to see what personal traits, values
or setbacks may have contributed to the overall problem. Discrepancies
present a unique opportunity to examine at your competencies and make
improvements, which can potentially increase passion and commitment
rather than reduce them.
4. Uphold your values
Sometimes, it can be challenging to find motivation and passion when
you're not consistently participating in projects you truly enjoy or care
about. While it's true that you may not always be able to work on
passion projects, you should try to purposefully seek opportunities that
you enjoy. With this, if you're currently serving in a role that offers less
excitement or passion than you'd like, you may consider making a shift.
It's important to keep a realistic sense of where you're going, but you
can also change your course when your projects or the company you
work for doesn't align with your values.
13. Opinion of the Student
I have been both an amazing learning opportunity and a great deal
of fun during my 60 Hours of internship. The position has taught me a
lot of extra knowledge which I couldn't learn in the college and It has
kept me on my toes for three days straight. I found it was very
interesting and challenging when the tasks were assigned to me. It was a
great opportunity for me to join Dialog for my internship program
which allowed me to gain real-world experience. I had a variety of
duties which involved almost every aspect of the accounting. I in charge
of all the payments, bank transactions, money collections, approval
from different authority of people and so on. As I in charge of few
divisions, my work load is always so much especially end of the day.
One of the most interesting experiences for me was explore much
more details about our accounting information whereby a normal
accountant which never experience it before.
