3. ON YOUR COMING EXAM, YOU CHOOSE A PLACE TO STUDY:

In this situation, choose a place to study. There are three options for me such as
library, home and coffee shop.

In my point of view, library is my best choice because of some following reasons.

The first reason to discuss is that the air at library is quiet, cool and comfortale, it is
suitable for learning. The second reason is that there are many books that we can
read, borrow and study, moreover, all of them are free, we can be freedom to use
them, it helps us save money. The last reason is that there are many useful kind of
means of education such as computers, documents, journals and so on. They can
helps us find information for subjects and learn more effectively.

Speaking of home, although, studying at home is very comfortable and convinient

and we can save money, I don’t choose it that is to say, when studying at home, we
will be lazy and there are many noise from other family members, neighbers and so
on. We can not focuss to learn.

As for coffee shop, although, the air at coffee shop is very cool and we have
friends in order to learn together, I don’t choose is that is to say, in there, it isnt
suitable for learning because people go to the coffee shop to talk and share stories
together, and the price of drinks is high, it is about 40k for one glass of coffee.

To sum up, from what, I have mentioned, library is my best opimal choice.

study – study in group – save money – computers / documents/ journals/ theses –

4. YOUR FRIEND PREPARES TO HAVE AN ENGLISH EXAM,

WHAT SHOULD SHE DO TO IMPROVE HER ENGLISH LEVEL:

Help my friend choose to improve her E level:

The first reason to discuss is that when we attend an E course, we will learn E
more easily, because we can meet teachers directly, it helps us learn E more
effectively. The second reason is that there are many friends that learn together, we
can talk and share experiences, it is very funny and interesting, besides, it helps us
widen our knowledge and learn new things. There are many interesting activities or
game that we can join in order to improve our skills such as speaking skill,
listening skill, writing skill and so on. It is very useful.

Speaking of study an E online course, although, learing E online is cheaper, it

helps us save money, I don’t choose it that is to say, it isn’t effective, when we
learn E at home, there are no friends that learn together, it is so boring.

As for study at home with tutor, although, it is so effective because tutor make us
easy to undertand lesson, I don’t choose is that is to say, the fee which hires a tutor
is expensive, it is about 10M for a course, it is not reasonable.
Attend an English course  (Knowledge/skills) widen knowledge – know many
things - friends/foreigners, - talk – share – happy/funny – exchange knowledge –
learn new things – learn more effectively/better

Study an English online course (cheaper/save money) – isn’t effective – no

friends – boring

Study at home with tutor (effective/easy to understand lessons) – fees are

expensive/costly, about 10M for a course

5. LEARN EXPERIENCE FROM:

The first reason to discuss is that co-workers are often close to us, they are
friendly, nice and easy-going people, we can learn new and useful things from
them such as experience, life skills, communication skills, and so on. It is useful
for major. The second reason is that we can meet them easily, it helps us
communicate and learn from them more easily. It is so convinient. The last reason,
we are easy to apply these skills at work because co-workers will stand by us and
guide us anything. It is very useful.

Speaking of excellent students, although they are gelpful and they have a lot of
great knowledge, I don’t choose it that is to say, they don’t have a lot of experience
in life as well as jobs and their knowledge can not be suitable for our majors. It is
not useful.

As for famous people, although they have a ot of knowledge and talents, I don’t
choose is that is to say, we are hard to meet them, that maybe cost much money, it
is not reasonable. We cannot talk with them, from that, we can not learn anything
from them. It is not useful.

Co-workers: learn new and useful things from them: job experience, life skills,
communication skills, teamwork skills,…..useful for major – have a job in the
future – apply these skills – 3 adj – will always help us

Excellent students(helpful/have great knowledge)  don’t have a lot of experience

in life as well as jobs
Famous singers/president/businessman (knowledge and talents) – learn from
them  hard to meet – cannot talk together / with them – cost money

6. CHOOSE A PLACE TO LIVE WHEN STUDYING AT UNIVERSITY

A dormitory  cheap/suitable - about….. + near school, save time + a lot of

friends – learn and help each other – have problems – beautiful memories

A boarding house (feel free, comfortable) – more expensive than dorm + unsafe +
it’s far from my school

Relative’s house (it’s free - save money)/many people/relatives – take care of 

uncomfortable + don’t have freedom and private space

Apartment/flat (feel free, luxurious/great)  very expensive, about.. – not suitable

for students

7. AFTER GRADUATING FROM UNIVERSITY, YOUR BROTHER:

Go to work  earn money, about… - take care of + learn new things: life skills, job
experience, soft skills …useful for job - help…save money to do many things in
the future – hold a wedding party – build a house - travel

Study higher (widen knowledge)/have higher degrees  expensive - now, about –

100M VND for a major (school fees/ tuition fees)

Travel (happy-relax/ enjoy life) he should - expensive – waste time – I think, o to
work first, after that if he has a lot of money, he can/could travel anywhere that he
wants

In this situation, give advise for my brother after graduating from university, there
are three options for me such as going to work, studying higher and travelling.

From my poin of view, going to work is my best choice, because of some followig
reasons.

The first reason which is crucial reasons to dicussed is that he can earn money
from his job. He will have a basical salary, it is about 5M. with that, he can be own
to pay for livehood and can help his family by this money. The second reason to
consider is that he will learn many experience from his job, It will be helpful for
him when he want to devenlop his major and he want to study higher. It is
essential. Last but not least, he can save money for some plans in the furture such
as studying higher, travelling, buying the house and so on. It become easily when
he has a quite of money. It is very nescessary.

Speaking of studying higher, although when he completes studying higher

programs, he will receive higher degrees such as master degree, I don’t choose it
that is to say, school fee for one course is very expensive, it is about 100M, and he
can spend two years for learning. It is not suitable for his situation.

As for travelling, although when he travel to some places, he can relax and reduce
stress after university, as well as he can enjoy intrersting new things.i don’t choose
is that is to say, it spend a lot of time and it is expensive, it is about 10M for a trip.

To sum up, from what, I have mentioned above, going to work is my best optimal
choice.

Bonus: I think that he can travelling when he earn a lot of money, because when
have enough money, he can do everything easily. The same with studying higher,
it also need a lot of money.

there + it doesn’t have a lot of info – cost money for the entrance fee ticket, is

Watch documentaries (good – exciting- meaningful)  the contents are boring – it
isn’t popular now – there’re some documentaires which are not suitable with
foreigners

In this situation, choose a gift for your best friend’s mother, there are
three options for me such as a book, a pair of tickets and a hat.
From my point of view, a pair of tickets is my best choice, because of
some following useful and meaningful reasons.
The first reason, I want to consider is that it is easy to buy and offer her,
because there are many kind of interesting movies which can be suitabe
for her. The second reason, I see that it is also reasonable is that she can
ralax and reduce stress by enjoying one romantic movie after her
housework. It is very great. The last reason to make clear is that she and
my friend will have an intersting, wonderful and memorable moment to
enjoy together.
Speaking of a book, although a book is very useful, it helps her know
many new things, I don’t choose it that is to say, she does not have a lot of
free time to read it, because of her major and her housework. It is so
boring.
 As for a hat, although it is easy to use when she go out, I don’t choose is
that is to say, there are many kind, colors and styles that we are very hard
to how to choose suitable for her hobby.

MB: there are some benefits of going Museum. There are three main points of
going Museum that I discuss in my talk such as relaxing, gaining much
information, meeting new friends and my own idea is sharing knowledge with
others.

To begin with, as for relaxing, going Museum helps us relax. That is because,
when we go to the Museum, we’ll feel comfortable with the atmosphere and
many intersting things which are are displayded at there, we will forgot bad
stories and focus in them to find out about the past and the life of people in the
past.

Secondly, as for gaining much information, going Museum helps us gain much
information. That is because, it helps us learn new things such as traditional
cultures, the life of people in the past, sciensce acheivements in the past and so
on. From what that we are seen we can widen our knowledge and know more
