computers, and data processing systems.
2. Apply knowledge of number systems, logic gates, and coding schemes to solve basic computational problems and analyze digital circuits.
3. Analyze the role and function of computer peripherals in input and output processes, categorizing them based on their characteristics and

CO1. Recall the characteristics and capabilities of various computer systems, identify different types of computer hardware, and describe the

components of the computer block diagram.

CO2. Explain the difference between primary and secondary storage, describe sequential and direct access storage methods, and interpret the purpose of

memory registers.

Course Outcomes CO3. Utilize logic gates and truth tables to solve basic logic problems, apply knowledge of number systems to convert between decimal, binary, octal,

and hexadecimal systems.

CO4. Analyze the function and limitations of different input and output devices, compare impact and non-impact printers, and evaluate the benefits of

various softcopy output devices.

CO5. Create a simple flowchart for an algorithm, design a batch file to automate specific tasks in MS DOS, develop a logical sequence to perform basic
