Role Overview
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Front-End Developer to architect and build robust,
scalable React applications that bring our AI video workflows to life. You will own critical UI
modules, from real-time video editors and timeline components to dashboard analytics, working
closely with product, design, ML and video streaming teams. If building complex, performance-
sensitive web apps that delight users excites you, we want to talk.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the React Front-End Architecture
○ Design, implement and optimize reusable component libraries using React 18,
Hooks, and Context/Redux.
○ Establish performance budgets, code-splitting, lazy loading and SSR strategies
for sub-second interactions.
2. Ship High-Impact Features
○ Lead development of timeline editors, video previews, collaborative review flows
and real-time comment overlays.
○ Integrate REST/GraphQL APIs and WebSocket streams that power AI model
inference and rendering pipelines.
3. Champion Engineering Excellence
○ Drive automated testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress) and CI/CD
pipelines.
○ Conduct design and code reviews, enforce TypeScript best practices, and
mentor junior developers.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
○ Partner with Product Managers and UX/UI Designers to translate wireframes into
pixel-perfect, accessible interfaces.
○ Work alongside back-end, DevOps and MLOps teams to ensure seamless end-
to-end user experience.
5. Continuous Improvement
○ Monitor performance and error analytics (Lighthouse, Sentry, New Relic) to
iterate on UX and stability.
○ Stay abreast of emerging front-end, video, and AI trends; propose and prototype
new ideas that create business value.
Required Qualifications
● 2+ years of professional front-end development, with majority experience deep in
modern React.
● Strong command of TypeScript, ES2022+, HTML5, CSS-in-JS
(Emotion/Stitches/Tailwind).
● Proven experience building complex single-page applications (SPAs) with heavy state
management (Redux RTK/Zustand/Recoil).
● Expertise in performance optimization, including virtualization, debouncing,
memoization, code-splitting, and Web Workers.
● Hands-on with video or media-rich UIs (Canvas, WebGL, MSE, HLS/DASH players,
FFmpeg-wasm) is a major plus.
● Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG 2.1), responsive design, and cross-browser
nuances.
● Familiarity with design systems (Storybook, Figma tokens) and scalable component
architecture.
● Comfortable with Git, conventional commits, and trunk-based development in multi-repo
environments.
Preferred Extras
● Experience with Next.js or Remix for SSR and edge rendering.
● Knowledge of WebRTC and real-time collaboration such as CRDT or Operational
Transform.
● Exposure to AI/ML inference in the browser (TensorFlow.js, MediaPipe) or integrating
with Python or Go microservices.
● Contributions to open-source front-end projects or tech blogging or speaking.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical
experience.
