Project
1) Each group is required to submit a project report and make three presentations. Two ppts (max 20 mins), to assess the
progress, will be in my office/ outside the class timings over Google Meet/ Zoom. Third one (30 mins) will be in the class
at the end of the term. Project report and all ppts will carry some marks.
2) For this case study/ report task you have to choose a platform company subject to the instructor’s approval.
3) Your project report and presentation should cover the TIS related aspects mentioned below:
TIS-Tentative Project Structure (of the presentation and writeup)
Answering the following questions to demonstrate the practical applications of what we know from SM-I (less

e. User Group(s) (do the following for all the user groups)
i. User Group 1: to study products (features) v/s need v/s value proposition v/s technology v/s
gap v/s adoption barriers (risks felt by the side)
ii. User Group 2: the same as above for group 2 as well
f. Network effect:
i. Same v/s cross sides
ii. Positive v/s negative

How to proceed
You will send a single page proposal in pdf format via email to me describing:
1) the idea- description of project, choice of firm/ technology (if any), approach to be adopted to complete the project;
2) identification of data sources/ variables/ other relevant information (very important); and
3) the group’s strength (very important) as to why you think you can/ should do it!
This needs to be done by Sept 05. First round of presentations will take place latest by Sept 12-13.
First round of presentations will see groups explaining/ demonstrating:
1) clear articulation of problem; 2) identification of deliverables; 3) customer of the report/ output; 4) identification of key
stakeholders or variables (independent, dependent, contingency, and others) or as the case may be; 5) identification of
method, data, and analysis technique to achieve the deliverables; and 6) progress made so far, and a time bound plan to
complete the project.
Report guidelines
