The room is dimly lit, with shadows dancing along the walls.( Visual Im ) The air
feels cold, and a faint, musty smell lingers,( Smell Im) like old books and
forgotten memories. ( Touch/ Metaphors). The floor creaks with every step (hear)
, as if the room is alive ( FL Simile). Cobwebs hang from the corners, and the
paint on the walls is chipped and peeling.( Visual) An old, dusty chandelier
swings slightly, though there’s no breeze. Strange whispers seem to echo from
the cracks in the floor ( Audible/ Hear IM) , and the windows are sealed shut,
blocking out any light. It's a place where every creak and groan makes you
wonder if you're truly alone.( Hear/ Metaphor )
1. Write a description about a sweet relationship between a
grandmother and granddaughter in 100 words.
Sample Response :
Every Saturday, Grandma and her granddaughter, Lily, spend the afternoon
together baking cookies in the cozy kitchen. Grandma’s wrinkled hands guide
Lily’s as they measure ingredients, laughing at the little mistakes. As the sweet
scent fills the air, they sit by the window, sipping tea and sharing stories.
Grandma always has a new tale to tell, filled with wisdom and love. Lily listens
closely, hanging on to every word, knowing these moments are precious. Their
bond is built on trust, laughter, and a shared love for simple, beautiful things,
making every moment together feel special and unforgettable.
Sample 3 : Picture Response :
A beautiful wooden cabin on a small island in the middle of a calm lake. The
cabin has a slanted roof and is surrounded by nature. The lake is so still that it
reflects the cabin, trees, and mountains perfectly, almost like a mirror. In the
background, there are tall mountains covered in light mist, making the scene look
peaceful and dreamy. The trees around the cabin have warm autumn colors,
such as orange and red, which contrast with the cool blue of the water and sky.
The sunlight casts a soft glow on the cabin and the mountains, creating a
magical atmosphere. This image gives a sense of calmness and isolation, as if
the cabin is a secret getaway in nature. It looks like a perfect place to relax and
enjoy the beauty of the outdoors.
