Is a term generally used to describe a new technology,
but it may also refer to the continuing development of
an existing technology; it can have slightly different
meaning when used in different meaning when used in
different areas, such as media, business, science, or
education.
The term commonly refers technologies that are to
currently developing, or that are expected to be
available within the next five to ten years, and is usually
reserved for technologies that are creating, or are
expected to create, significant social or economic
effects.

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Refers to programmed algorithms that automatically
parse and apply knowledge. It’s the largest force in
emerging technology, and includes security and sales
applications for businesses

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)

It is wide-ranging branch of computer science


concerned with
building smart machines capable of performing tasks
that typically
require human intelligence.

• Two Categories of AI
1. Narrow AI
Sometimes referred to as “Weak AI”, this kind of
artificial intelligence operates within a limited context
and is a simulation of human intelligence. Narrow AI
is often focused on performing a single task extremely
well, while these machines may seem intelligent,
they are operating under far more constraints and
limitations that even the most basic human
intelligence.

• Two Categories of AI
1. Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)
Sometimes referred to as “Strong AI,” is the kind
of artificial intelligence we see in the movies, like
the robots from Westworld the Matrix, Inception
or Data from Star Trek: The Next Generation etc.
AGI is a machine with general intelligence and,
much like a human being, it can apply that
intelligence to solve any problem.

• Example of Narrow AI
1. Google Search
2. Image Recognition Software
3. Siri, Alexa, and other personal Assistant
4. Self-Driving Cars
5. Manufacturing and Drown Robots
6. Spam filters on email

• 5G

5G offers improvements over 4G, such as low latency,


intelligent power consumption and high device
density. 5G will make augmented reality, smart cities
and connected vehicles possible.

• IoT

The Internet of Things combines information from


connected devices and allows for analytics of
systems. These platforms, devices and datasets
provide additional insights and efficiencies for the
enterprise.

• Serverless Computing

Serverless computing, or Function as a Service (FaaS),


allows companies to build applications that scale in
real time so that they can respond to demand that
can change instantly depending on orders of
magnitude.
