I am an independent consultant focused on providing guidance to non-profit and public sector organizations. For the last 3 years I have focused on open source and public policy. Previously I led Red Hat's Open Source Program Office where my team was responsible for stewardship in software communities and standards bodies. My background includes cross tech industry expertise (private, public, higher-ed) with senior level strategic and communications-focused experience. For two decades I have focused on open source software; supporting community through leadership, work and non-profit board contribution; successfully advocating for the use of open source in the public sector.
