  Front Album Cover We Found that the location is either outside or in a studio depending on the genre of the album.  Female artist are presented in a voyeuristic way for example there is a close up of the artists faces or a long shot of a provocative pose.  The facial expression of the artist is serious majority of the time.  The artist is placed in the center of the album cover.  The font used for the artists name is different to the font used for the album name.  Texts never overrules the image of the artist.

  Back Album Cover Same colours are used throughout to show continuity.  Sometimes artists are framed on the side to allow space for the list of songs.  Logo of the record label and barcodes.  Usually a long shot of the artist- sells the artists image.  Same font used throughout the album cover.

  Inside Album Cover Close up of artists face.  Include posters.  Artists write a message dedicated to their fans which is one way to interact with them
