ABSTRACT
 The project objective is to book cinema tickets in online. The Ticket Reservation System is an Internet based
application that can be accessed throughout the Net and can be accessed by anyone who has a net
connection. This application will reserve the tickets. This online ticket reservation system provides a website
for a cinema hall where any user of internet can access it. User is required to login to the system and needs a
credit card for booking the tickets.
 Tickets can be collected at the counter and Watching movies with family and friends in the at one of the best
medium of entertainment after having a hectic schedule. But all this excitement vanishes after standing in
hours in long queues to get tickets booked.
 The website provides complete information regarding currently running movies on all the screens with details
of show timings, available seats. Ticket reservations are done using credit card and can be cancelled if needed.
Our online tickets reservation system is one of the best opportunities for those who cannot afford enough
time to get their tickets reserved standing in long queues.
 People can book tickets online at any time of day or night. Our reservation system also provides option to
cancel the tickets which are reserved previously.

RATIONALE
 Online movie ticket booking systems have become popular due to their convenience
and ease of use.
 They allow users to browse through a wide selection of movies, choose their preferred
show times, and book tickets from the comfort of their own homes.
 This eliminates the need to wait in long queues at the theatre and provides a hassle-
free way to plan a movie outing.
 Additionally, online ticket booking systems often offer features such as seat selection,
secure online payment options, and the ability to easily cancel or reschedule bookings.
 Overall, these systems enhance the movie going experience by providing flexibility,
time-saving benefits and exclusive offers for users.

 Online Movie Ticket Booking System is the process where by consumer directly book the online ticket .

 Since the emergence of the world wide web, merchants have sought to sell their tickets to people who surf
the internet . customer can visit web movie ticket theatre from the comfort of their home and book as they
sit in front of the computer.
 Many people choose to conduct book online because of the convenience. For example, when a person
book a ticket through movie theatre. She has to drive to the movie theatre find a parking place, and walk
throughout the movie theatre until she locates the theatre she needs. Online movie ticket booking theatre
very helpful or useful for the old people.
 The project “Online Movie Ticket Booking System” . Create an Online Movie Ticket Booking processing that
allows customer to know about new movies ,their schedules, cinema location, class and ticket price etc. In
the booking process when customer selects his city then cinema of that city are filtered. In next step she
selects his desired cinema where she wish to see movie, then selects movie and other details like show
date, show time, class and no of ticket .

PROJECT AS FOLLOWS
 Facility to store the information of new customer, different types of movie show timing, ticket
rates of different types on show class etc.
 Interest to develop a good user-friendly website with many online transaction using a
database.
 Facility to generate different reports, which are helpful for the management in decision
making.
 Facility to change user’s password account.
System should also provide accessories such as calculator, month viewer Additionally, some
display setting options can also be provided.
