The paper presents a method for encrypting small arbitrary length data while preserving its length and data type through a flexible arbitrary length small domain block cipher (FPESD) based on the AES algorithm. It emphasizes the importance of cryptography in securing vulnerable information and utilizes Galois finite field GF(2^8) and format preserving keys for implementation. The proposed approach enables the resulting ciphertext to remain consistent with the input plaintext, allowing for straightforward decryption.
