Over the years, Adele has consistently shown her support for Pride. Following the tragic attack on LGBT+ individuals at Pulse nightclub in Orlando, Florida, in 2016, she dedicated her entire show to the victims, stating on stage: "I would like to start tonight by dedicating this entire show to everybody in Orlando and at Pulse nightclub last night... The LGBTQ community, they're like my soul mates since I was really young, so I'm very moved by it."

Furthermore, the Grammy-winning artist has stated that her hit 'I Set Fire To The Rain is a "gay anthem". Adele once officiated the wedding of her comedian friend Alan Carr and his partner, and she's frequently seen enjoying nights out at gay bars.
