3 best bets for Toronto Blue Jays vs Seattle Mariners ALCS Game 4
A pair of MLB veterans will take the mound in Game 4 of the ALCS as the Toronto Blue Jays look to even the series against the Seattle Mariners at two games apiece
The Toronto Blue Jays officially have life after posting a dominant 13-4 win over the Seattle Mariners in Game 3 of the ALCS on Wednesday night.
With the win, Toronto halved its series deficit. The Blue Jays hit five home runs in Game 3 and looked much more like the team that eliminated the New York Yankees in the ALDS.
Meanwhile, Seattle’s bats were hushed after Julio Rodriguez’s first-inning two-run home run. The Mariners didn’t score again until a pair of consolation home runs from Randy Arozarena and Cal Raleigh in the eighth inning.
Future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer will take the mound for Toronto in Game 4, while Seattle’s Luis Castillo gets the call for his second start of the postseason.
Let’s get into our three best bets for Thursday night’s game. (All odds via DraftKings and subject to change.)

After 17 runs were scored in Game 3 and the Blue Jays lineup came back to life, I am eyeing over 7.5 runs to be scored in Game 4.
Neither Scherzer nor Castillo are what they were in their prime. Scherzer, 41, posted a career-worst 5.19 ERA in the regular season, while Castillo largely got hit off in games against MLB’s elite teams, including the Blue Jays back in April.
Both lineups should have plenty of opportunities to feast early in Thursday's game.
Ernie Clement Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+122)
Clement has been an under-appreciated hero of the Blue Jays’ playoff run so far.
The 29-year-old dominated the Yankees in the ALDS with nine hits, five runs scored and five RBI across four games. He already has three hits in three games so far against Seattle, and ranks third among all qualified hitters in batting average this postseason (.462).
Look for Clement to continue his hot streak in Game 4.
Max Scherzer Under 10.5 Outs Recorded (-109)
This is a low number, but I am taking Scherzer to record under 10.5 outs.
After using six pitchers in each of the first two games of this series, Toronto’s bullpen got much needed rest in Game 3 as Shane Bieber cruised and the lineup mashed.
Blue Jays manager John Schneider will likely go away from Scherzer if he runs into early trouble given his top relief arms are rested and ready to go.
