3 best bets for Seattle Mariners vs Toronto Blue Jays in ALCS Game 7
A Shane Bieber prop highlights our top picks for the deciding game in this year's American League Championship Series
Monday night in the MLB postseason brings us the two best words in sports: Game 7.
In what has been a hugely entertaining, back-and-forth championship series between the Seattle Mariners and Toronto Blue Jays, one team will finally emerge to clinch a long-awaited World Series berth and face the mighty Los Angeles Dodgers.
A win at home on Monday would mean Toronto’s first World Series appearance since 1993, while Seattle is seeking a first trip to the fall classic in franchise history. Two right-handers will take the mound, with George Kirby going for the Mariners and Shane Bieber for the Blue Jays.
Let’s get into our three best bets for tonight’s winner-take-all game.
Under 7.5 (-107)
Even though eight runs or more have been scored in five of six games this series, I am taking the under in Monday night’s decider.
Pressure is real, and both sets of players will feel it tonight. Every mistake is under a microscope, which I believe will lead to a cautious approach from every pitcher and hitter to take the field at Rogers Centre.
There have been 21 Game 7s in the MLB postseason since 2000. 14 of those games had eight or fewer runs scored, including eight of the last 10 dating back to 2014.
George Springer 2+ Total Bases (+105)
Springer is a postseason veteran and played in four Game 7s during his time with the Houston Astros.
Experience in the biggest moments matters, and while Springer doesn’t have a glowing stat line across those four games (3-for-17 with a home run and 2 RBIs), I trust him more than most anyone who will step up to the plate on Monday night.
The 35-year-old has a hit in seven of 10 games this postseason, including five doubles and three home runs.

Bieber was fantastic in Game 3, going six innings and striking out eight in a 13-4 Blue Jays win. I expect the 30-year-old to keep his cool and stay in the game long enough to clear this line, which would be a dream scenario for Toronto manager John Schneider.
Per ESPN, the Mariners expected lineup for Game 7 has a career .221 batting average against Bieber, scoring nine runs and striking out 52 times across 131 at bats.
