Aims

 To develop the ablity to arrange,cargo hatch, cabin,galley etc in ship.


 To be able to adopt various Symbols used in drawing.
 To be Able to develop the ability to construct various frames and
odnary bulkhead.
 To be Able to develop skill of general arrangement drawing.

Short Description
General arrangement of pontoon, General arrangement of self propelled barge,
General arrangement of cargo vessel, General arrangement of tugboat ,Frame and
ordinary bulkhead drawing.
Detail Description Practical

1. Draw General arrangement of a pontoon according to the measurement


and lebel it .
2. Draw a General arrangement of self propelled barge according to the
measurement and lebel it .
3. Draw a General arrangement of a cargo vessel according to the
measurement and lebel it .
4. Perfrom the General arrangement of tugboat according to the
measurement and lebel it .
5. Perfrom the constructional drawing of pontoon.

5.1 Draw longitudinal constructional drawing of pontoon according


to the measurement.
5.2 Draw Trans verse constructional drawing of pontoon according
to the measurement.

6. Draw different types of frames according to the measurement and lebel it .

7. Perform the drawing of bulkheads.


7.1 Draw an ordinary bulkheads according to the measurement.
7.2 Draw an watertight bulkheads according to the measurement.
7.3 Draw a collision bulkhead .
8. Draw the lines plan of the pontoon.
8.1 Draw profile according to GA of a pontoon.
8.2 Draw half-breadth-plan according to GA of a pontoon.
8.3 Draw body-plan according to GA of a pontoon
8.4 Make offset table of the lines plan..
9. Draw the lines plan of a self propelled barge.
9.1 Draw profile according to GA of a self-propelled barge.
9.2 Draw half-breadtheplan according to GA of a self-propelled barge.
9.3 Draw bodyplan according to GA of a self-propelled barge.
9.4 Make offset table of the lines plan.
10. Draw the lines plan of a cargo vessel.
