Position: Lead Data Scientist
Position Highlights:
Reporting to Vice President Analytics
Manage processes and timelines of the team so that the development process
takes place on schedule and with a minimum viable product philosophy using
Agile, Scrum techniques etc
Enable smarter business processes—and implement analytics for meaningful
insights
Research and devise innovative statistical models for data analysis
Knowledge of data pre-processing steps - uploading, creating master data set,
extracting right data from external sources, data quality checks and corrections
and Database Management
Responsibilities:
Lead data strategist in identifying and integrating new datasets that can be
leveraged through our product capabilities and work closely with the
engineering team to strategize and execute the development of data products
Devise and utilize algorithms and models to mine big data stores, perform data
and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for
uniformity and accuracy
Implement advanced algorithms for business problems based on statistical
analysis, coding, deep learning, advanced data mining techniques etc.
Continuously evaluate the latest techniques in Artificial intelligence, machine
learning, robotics, statistical analysis
Develop implementation guidelines, quality control procedures, and
documentation for projects. Ensures adherence of the best practices in the
project.
Work closely with data engineering team to identify and consume relevant
structured and unstructured data sources (including IoT sources such as
manufacturing sensors systems).

Predictive Modelling, Data Processing & Analytics, Neural Networks,
Forecasting, Statistical Modelling, Applied Mathematics, TensorFlow, NLP
Total Experience: 8-10 yrs.
Relevant Experience: 5-6yrs.
Desired Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree from a premier institute (IIT/BITS/NIT,ISI etc) in Computer
Science, Statistics or Applied Math.
A master’s degree in data science, predictive analytics, computer science, applied
mathematics, statistics, software engineering, physics, or related quantitative
discipline.
5+ year’s experience as a Data Scientist/ Analytics Lead at an Analytics firm/
Bank/ Fintech/ NBFCs.
Prior experience leading/ implementing Analytics cases independently.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning,
artificial neural networks, etc.) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks is
appreciated.
Extensive experience in data mining and building predictive models for Cross-
sell, Underwriting, Collection models, etc.
