ACTIVITY 1.1 CARTOONING ANALYSIS: Look at the details of the cartoon and

1. Define the image that you can see.


- Social media manipulates our lives in a
means of it can control how we interact
with other people and connecting with
other people. We may not be aware of the
effect that is already impacting our lives.

2. What do you think is the problem all about?


- The problem is that we don’t give much
attention to social media on how it affects all of us who are using it
through different platforms. We are being controlled by our urge to use
social media because of it most of us are using social media without
properly controlling ourselves on how we are using it.

3. How can you able to utilize the advancement of technology rather than
enslaved by it?
- Advancement of technology can be utilize in so many ways just like on
medical technology or technologies that can help us be efficient in doing
different things. In terms of technology in general we have to know the
limits of using it. We must become aware of limitation of usage in
different types of technology in order for us to live and have a better
experience in utilizing technologies

Which among the things you have listed is the most advance and least advance
technology?
- Most advance would be smart phones because in the past we used to
have mp3 player, radio, flashlight, camera, gps, and many more
features. This features in smart phones not long ago we once had
individual devices each for those different features and now smart
phones have them and even more there are more advance smartphones
available to the market with more advance features that could aid in
helping us in different things just like the feature in iPhones which it has
a leveler and a ruler that helps those who are building. The least
advance technology that I can say is lightbulbs because the only job of
lightbulbs are to light up but nonetheless it has advanced also in which
we now have LEDs or light emitting diodes. These lights are installed on
our house it is more durable and it’s light output is even better than the
traditional halogen light. Moreover LED lights are more efficient in which
it can be less in wattage and a lot cooler temperature than halogen it
means LED lights is more energy saving and it is better installing it than
using traditional halogen lights and to further add more information
about LED lights and it’s advancements nowadays people can buy RGB
lightbulbs that can change color with a controller or by controlling
wirelessly with your phone and other lightbulbs have the additional
feature which has a wireless speaker installed with it.

Have you found difficulties in selecting which is the most and the least advance
technology? Why or why not?
- Yes, because each technology in those devices that I have mentioned
has it’s own different technology that helps us in our daily lives each
shines in it’s own way. Technology has come so far that traditional
things have become advance and are within reach for most of us people.
We can utilize it very well by knowing how to properly use it and think of
it as of now there are so many things that are being developed and
improved to help us even more. Sooner or later we may have
technologies we didn’t expect that would even make things better.
