Business Defining Leadership Assignment

There are many admirable leaders in the world. The one leader who has all of the

characteristics I admire is my mom. My mom is strict but fair, she is honest, she cares for people

around her, she expects people around her to fulfill their potential, and she most importantly

analyzes situations around her and deals with them with ruthless efficiency.

My mother is a secretary in a hospital and works for various doctors. She has worked

there a long time and has established a leadership role in the office. I know she is a good leader

at work because she is an amazing leader at home. When I was younger, my mom was strict

about video games. She implemented a time limit so I would still be able to play while satisfying

her at the same time. She was very honest and caring towards me as I was growing up, however

that did not stop her from pushing me to do well in school. My mom always solves important

problems in life and always helps me be the best version of myself by using her own life

experiences to better educate me - which is what I think an amazing leader does.

My mother is a better leader than Donald Trump ever was, or ever will be. My mother is

a better leader than Donald Trump because he never listened to other people’s opinions and only

did what he wanted, which is the complete opposite of what a good leader would do. People did

not like or trust Trump because of his poor choices and lack of communication with his

associates - a good leader knows when to take advice and communicate with others, just like my

mom does.

Trump also lied about things he was doing and did not care about the opinions of others -

a good leader cares about the opinions of others and applies them to better themselves, Trump

did not do those things and thus my mom is a better leader. Trump was an extremely greedy and

selfish leader which are not the leadership characteristics that make up a good leader. My mother

is a much better example of what a good leader is, and in my opinion my mom is the best leader

of all.

In conclusion, my mother has all of the leadership characteristics that I admire and value

while Donald Trump does not. I aspire to have all of the positive characteristics my mother does

so I can better improve as a person and leader.
