Turn the crankshaft clockwise
Until the crankshaft locking tool can be fitted

Remove the crankshaft locking tool
Removal
Turn the the

Tighten the special tool (30 Nm)
at
Turn the crankshaft clockwise
Until the crankshaft touches the special tool (T10340)

Lock the exhaust camshaft gearwheel
Fit the camshaft gearwheel locking tool (T10477)
Tighten the bolt by hand
Disconnect the fuel lines

Remove the camshaft access plug
Removal
Remove the air filter housing and hoses

Loosen the camshaft gearwheels
Use a special tool: (T10172)
Disconnect the fuel lines

Loosen the tensioner pulley nut

Use the special tool to counterhold (T10499 )

Remove the air filter housing and hoses

Turn the tensioner anti-clockwise to release the tension
Remove the timing belt from the camshaft gearwheel
Renew the camshaft gearwheel bolts
Tighten the bolts by hand
Lock the crankshaft pulley, using the special tool to lock the crankshaft (T10475)
Remove thethe
Disconnect crankshaft

Refit the crankshaft gearwheel

Fit the timing belt onto the crankshaft gearwheel
Tighten the idler pulley (45 Nm)

Refit the timing belt lower cover (8 Nm)
Refit the crankshaft pulley
Stage 1: (150 Nm)
Stage 2: (180°)
Disconnect the fuel lines
